ST. ROSE – Fifth African Baptist Church in St. Rose will host its annual Women’s Day program on Oct. 17, starting at 2 p.m.

Located at 174 Fourth St., the church will honor Rowena Smith, with the theme of “Women with a Vision,” chaired by Betty Smith and co-chaired by Ina Vinnett Rising. Guest speaker will be Debra Davis of Greater Bethlehem-Stranger Home Baptist Church in New Orleans.
