The Queen of Hearts directors are seeking contestants for the 2004 Miss, Teen, and Ms. Queens of Hearts pageant. The pageant is set for Saturday, September 11th at 4:30 p.m. in the Sacred Heart School Auditorium. Any women, single between the ages of 17-23 can enter the Miss division. Girls between the ages of 13-16 can enter the Teen division and Women single or married, 24 and older can enter the Ms. division. There are no residency restrictions for any division, allowing women from all across Louisiana to enter the pageant. The Miss division will have an interview that will begin at 9:00 a.m. and the evening gown competition that will begin at 4:30 p.m. The Teen and Ms. divisions will only have evening gown competition that will be held in conjunction with the Miss division beginning at 4:30 p.m.

The entry fee for the Miss division is $75.00 which includes photogenic and the entry fee for the Teen and Ms. divisions in $50.00 which includes photogenic.

The deadline to enter the Miss division is Tuesday, September 7h. No registration will be taken after the deadline for the Miss division. The deadline for pre-registration for the Teen and Ms. divisions is Friday, September 10th. Registration will be taken at the door only for the Teen and Ms. divisions, for a $5.00 late registration fee.

The 2004 Miss Queen of Hearts will represent the River Parishes Fall Festival at the Louisiana Association of Fairs and Festival Queen of Queens Pageant in February of 2005. She will also travel throughout Louisiana to various fairs and festivals as an ambassador for the River Parishes Fall Festival.

The newly crowned queens will also reign over the River Parishes Fall Festival Saturday, September 11th and Sunday, September 12th.

In conjunction with the Miss, Teen, and Ms Pageants, there will also be a baby and youth pageant for girls ages 0-12 years old and boys ages 0-36 months old held on Saturday, September 11th beginning at 12:00 p.m. The dress code for these divisions is Sunday Best. The entry fee for all these divisions is $40.00 which includes photogenic. Late registration at the door will be accepted for a $5.00 fee.

All Queens and Kings will officially be crowned on Sunday, September 12th by auction to the highest bidder that steals the Queen/Kings hearts.

Amber Ropas, of Norco, Miss Queen of Hearts along with Amanda Sullivan of Norco, Teen Queen of Hearts, and Brandy Badeaux, of Norco, Ms. Queen of Hearts, will help crown their successors.
