LUTCHER – An 11-year-old girl has come forth to St. James Parish officials, and claimed she had been raped two years earlier by a LaPlace man.

St. James Parish Sheriff Willy Martin Jr. said the girl alleged the crimes took place when she was visiting her mother.

Roland Henry Jr., 32, of 425 Magnolia Ave. in LaPlace was arrested March 25 and charged with aggravated rape, oral sexual battery and indecent behavior with a juvenile.
