Kerry Lynn Vicknair of LaPlace and Nathan Evan Penton of New Orleans were united in marriage Jan. 23 at St. Joan of Arc Church in LaPlace, with the Rev. Joseph Dau Van Nguyen officiating. A reception followed at Jefferson Metairie.
The bride is the daughter of Carol Mehrtens of LaPlace and Floyd Paul Vicknair of LaPlace.
The bride groom the son of Mabilyn Rush Penton and Chaplain Gary of Pineville, LA.
The bride wore a long elegant white gown with a long train. A white veil with a crystal head piece. Her bouquet consisting of a white rose with pink accents.
Bridemaid’s wore long elegant blush colored gowns and carried a rose bouquet that were different shades of pink.
The bridegroom wore a black Oscar de la Renta tuxedo with a white vest and the grooms men wore black Oscar de la Renta tuxedos with rum pink vests.
The Matron of Honor was Marie Turner and Maid of Honor was Terrilynn Hebert, the brides maids were Wanda Wildes, Jessica Wildes, Toni Ladner and Jean Bernuchaux; the flower girl was Ashlyn Frahm.
The best man was David Englert and the groomsmen were Keith Cannizaro, Claude Nixon, Marc Amos Matthew Vicknair and Scott Winthers; the ringbearers were Pierson Bernuchaux and Mason Vicknair. The ushers were Mark Vicknair, Steven Turner, Mardy Wildes and Ivan Bernuchaux. Alter Servers Shelby and Adam Wildes.
Following the ceremony and a honeymoon cruise to the Cayman Islands and Corumel the couple will reside in New Orleans.
