The Krewe de Charles XVIII Royal Court

St. Charles Catholic High School proudly announces its Krewe de Charles XVIII Carnival Ball Royal Court. Eleven couples competed for this year’s title of King and Queen of the Krewe de Charles XVIII. The theme of the eighteenth annual event is “An Evening in Vogue: Fashion through the Decades.” The Krewe de Charles XVIII Bal Masque will take place on the evening of Saturday, January 31, 2004, at 7 p.m. in St. Charles Catholic High School’s gymnasium. Following the retirement of the Royal Court, the Royal Band, Summer Breeze, will perform. Tickets for the event are $6.00 each and can be purchased at SCC.

Reigning as King is Mr. Jeremiah Rustin Johnson. Mr. Johnson is the son of Rusty Johnson and Jolyn Duhe Johnson of Garyville. Page to his majesty is Macy Marie Badeaux, daughter of Timothy and Helen Badeaux.

Reigning as Queen is Ms. Brittany Lynne Vicknair. Ms. Vicknair is the daughter of George and Rachel Vicknair of LaPlace. Page to her majesty is Brandon Joseph Andry, son of Timmy and Jamie Andry.

The court members are Duke RobĂ©rt Lee Edwards, son of Richard and Kelly Edwards of LaPlace, and his Maid, Jessica Ann Himel, daughter of Randy and Joycelyn Himel of Reserve; Duke Christopher Michael Hanes, son of William and Tammy Hanes of LaPlace, and his Maid, Ashley Lauren Lacassin, daughter of Jeanette Turner Lacassin of LaPlace; Duke Henri Paul Dufresne, son Oliver “Jun” and Marie Dufresne of LaPlace, and his Maid, Jenna Marie Oncale, daughter of Bruce and Sheila Oncale of LaPlace; Duke Michael Brennan Murphy, son of Michael and Giselle Murphy of LaPlace, and his Maid, Kelly Marie Chauvin, daughter of Michael and Donna Chauvin of LaPlace; Duke Jonathan David Ratliff, son of David and Kelly Ratliff of LaPlace, and his Maid, Ashley Nicole Reine, daughter of Barry and Belinda Reine of LaPlace; Duke Joel Elliot Emerson, son of Bradley and Beth Emerson of LaPlace, and his Maid, Lauren Rae Jeandron, daughter of Morris and Janice Jeandron of LaPlace;

Following the presentation of the Royal Court and the King and Queen of the Krewe de Charles XVII, talented students from St. Charles Catholic will entertain the Royal court and its audience.
