Thursday, January 29 Open House for Prospective Students and Parents:

St. Joan of Arc is the largest Catholic school in the River Parishes and the fifth largest Catholic elementary school in the Archdiocese, but we cannot be content with this status. For us to continue to thrive and grow we must constantly attract new students. Please encourage your friends, neighbors, and relatives with children not attending SJA to attend this Open House. There will be an array of speakers, tours, and refreshments. Tell them about the good things happening at SJA. Word of mouth is the best P.R.

Friday, January 30 “Closing Mass” End of the Week Party:

At 8:30 A.M. we will celebrate a special mass for Catholic Schools Week. Harold and Toni Flynn will receive the Distinguished Alumni Award and Mrs. Janet Falgoust will receive the Distinguished Service Award. Weather permitting we will have a school wide party with refreshments and music on the volleyball courts from 2:30 – 3:30. If it is cold or rainy, PreK-4 4th grades will party in the gym from 1:30 2:30, and grades 5 – 8 will party in the gym from 2:30-3:30. Students may wear school related T-shirts to school on that day.

February 13, 2004. During that time all students in grades PreK3-7 must either be registered for next year, have made special arrangements with me, or have notified us that they are not returning. Our office does not have the ability to contact each family in the school concerning registration. We depend upon your cooperation in this important matter.
