LAPLACE – St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff Wayne L. Jones reported the following recent arrests:

€ Juan Sanchez, 36, 11410 Coleman Park Road, Hammond, hit-and-run driving, careless operation of a motor vehicle and no vehicle registration.

€ Libby Perkins, 36, 4490 Walter Hill Road, Darrow, 32 counts forged prescriptions.

€ Michael Davis, 39, 114 Bourgeois St., Garyville, simple criminal damage to property and two counts contempt of court.

€ Victor Schnyder, 31, 1609 E. Frisco Drive, LaPlace, making obscene phone calls.

€ Roy Hebert, 19, 908 Michael Court, LaPlace, domestic violence, aggravated assault and disturbing the peace by cursing.

€ Bobby J. Francois, 50, 318 E. 13th St., Reserve, simple battery and disturbing the peace by fighting.

€ Trevor P. Fenroy, 32, 3936 W. 11th Place, Inglewood, Calif., contempt of court.

€ Fredrick C. Williams, 50, 809 St. Andrews Blvd., LaPlace, disturbing the peace by cursing and remaining in places after being forbidden.

€ Ivan D. Lee, 37, 620 Revere Drive, LaPlace, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and four counts contempt of court.

€ Anthony Robert Stuprich, 23, 15075 Bear Island, Maurepas, carnal knowledge of a juvenile and contempt of court.

€ Scott Joseph Buras, 41, 464 Daffodil St., Mt. Airy, DWI and careless operation of a motor vehicle.

€ Pamela A. Johnson, 28, 517 Rienzi Drive, LaPlace, making false police reports.

€ Courtney Lynn Noble, 25, 328 Homewood Place, Reserve, contempt of court.

€ Milton T. Alexander, 50, 187 E. Sixth St., Edgard, domestic violence, simple assault, disturbing the peace by being intoxicated and disturbing the peace by fighting.

CORRECTION

The charges for Penny St. Pierre LeBlanc in the Jan. 10 issue were incorrect. These are the correct charges, from the St. John Parish Sheriff’s Office: hit-and-run driving, first-degree vehicular negligent injuring, expired license plate, DWI and vehicular homicide and fleeing the scene.

St Charles Parish

HAHNVILLE – St. Charles Parish Sheriff Greg C. Champagne reported the following recent arrests:

€ Bruce Wilson, 34, 310 Willard St., Luling, domestic violence, aggravated battery and simple battery.

Capt. Patrick Yoes reported that Wilson allegedly held the victim down and punched her with a closed fist.

€ Nora Alvis, 39, 284 Meadows Drive, Destrehan, domestic violence and aggravated battery.

Yoes reported that Alvis allegedly kicked the victim in the leg then charged the victim and attempted to stab her in the neck.

€ Cole Joseph Rodriguez, 20, 131 Rodriguez Drive, domestic violence and second-degree battery.

Yoes reported that Rodriguez allegedly grabbed the victim by the hair, bit her right hand and right cheek, slapped and punched her in the face.

€ Kendra Kennedy, 22, 827 Milling Ave., Luling, domestic violence and aggravated battery.

Yoes reported that Kennedy allegedly cut the victim three times with a box cutter.

€ Michael Andre Lee, 18, 827 Milling Ave., Luling, domestic violence, simple battery, possession of cocaine and simple possession of marijuana.

Yoes reported that Lee was involved in a domestic disturbance with his live-in girlfriend. As deputies responded, they located a bag of crack cocaine and also a small amount of marijuana.

€ Cliff Williams, 26, 721 E. Hoover St., New Sarpy, possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

€ Corey Cotton, 24, 123 Clement St., New Sarpy, possession of cocaine and illegal possession of a concealed weapon.

€ Terrance Posey, 26, 222 Terrance St., New Sarpy, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, resisting an officer, battery on a police officer and possession of drug paraphernalia.

St James

Parish

CONVENT – St. James Parish Sheriff Willy Martin Jr. reported the following activity during the week of Jan. 5-11: 186 complaints, including 65 from Lutcher/Gramercy, 31 from Convent, 25 from Paulina, 14 from St. James and 51 from Vacherie.

The following arrests were reported:

€ Dorian Dennison, 21, 2303 N. Central St., Lutcher, bench warrant for non-support.

€ Kevin Ford Sr., 28, 190 Esperance St, Garyville, expired driver’s license, no insurance/expired license plate and no headlights.

€ Nicholas Gamble, 24, 140 Devon Road, LaPlace, possession of drug paraphernalia, no taillights, improper equipment and illegal tint.

€ Lynwood Gautreaux, 37, 6148 Haydel St., Convent, bench warrant for non-support.

€ Misty Reed, 21, 39556 Brignac Road, Paulina, cruelty to juveniles and second-degree battery.

€ Ned White, 26, 7284 Freetown St., St. James, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and bench warrant.

€ Andre Goff, 45, 1540 E. First St., Gramercy, possession of drug paraphernalia and bench warrant.

€ Christopher LeBlanc, 1006 River Road, Convent, issuing worthless checks.

€ Darnell Cooper, 22, 2351 N. Courseault St., Lutcher, being a fugutive from another agency.

€ Larry Oubre Jr., 3151 Oubre St., No. 1, Vacherie, bench warrant.

€ Justin Wagoner, 21, 138 N. Magnolia St., Gramercy, armed robbery.

€ Johndell Gray, 29, 1341 N. Ezidore Ave., Gramercy, possession of Schedule IV controlled dangerous substances and bench warrant.

€ Corey Bowser, 33, 1107 Mississippi St., Donaldsonville, fourth offense DWI, improper lane usage and driving under suspension.

€ Tracey Jacobs, 30, 1801 Kent St., Kenner, third offense DWI, careless operation of a motor vehicle and improper stopping.
