LAPLACE – St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff Wayne L. Jones reported the following recent arrests:

€ Denise Hill, 38, 612 Chickadee St., LaPlace, disturbing the peace by cursing and disturbing the peace by being intoxicated.

€ Charles Feist Jr., 43, 124 E. Fifth St., Edgard, bench warrant.

€ Loretta Marie Young, 30, 325 E. 13th St., Reserve, simple assault and two counts contempt of court.

€ Aleta M. Jones, 30, 1017 Whitlow Court, LaPlace, being a fugitive from another agency.

€ Wendell Sanders, 26, 217 NW 13th St., Reserve, DWI, speeding, no driver’s license and improper lane usage.

€ Pankag B. Patel, 21, 3912 U.S. Highway 51, LaPlace, DWI.

€ Andrew Cosey, 38, 186 E. 13th St., Reserve, contempt of court.

€ Carlton Wright Jr., 27, 2505 Courseault St., Lutcher, two counts contempt of court.

€ Ronald D. Renshaw Jr., 22, 2649 Virginia Colony Drive, LaPlace, disturbing the peace by being intoxicated, resisting an officer by simple violence and resisting an officer by flight.

€ Mary Schloegel, 19, 2926 Oak Grove, Metairie, possession of marijuana, possession of Schedule III and Schedule IV controlled dangerous substances and distribution of Schedule IV controlled dangerous substances.

€ Nicholas R. Rod, 24, 2536 Virginia Colony Drive, LaPlace, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

€ Denise Scott, 32, 10310 Burnside St., Convent, theft of items valued at less than $100.

€ Tremaine Snyder, 20, 325 Arlington Drive, LaPlace, two counts contempt of court.

€ Jermaine T. Snyder, 20, 325 Arlington Drive, LaPlace, bench warrant and contempt of court.

€ Leola Stewart Williams, 38, 214 E. 13th St., Reserve, shoplifting theft of items valued at less than $100.

€ William H. Arendt III, 39, 8770 Houma Drive, LaPlace, DWI, improper lane usage and driving under suspension.

€ Penny St. Pierre LeBlanc, 41, 171 Belle Grove Drive, first-degree vehicular homicide, DWI, hit-and-run driving, expired license plate and fleeing the scene of a vehicular homicide.

€ Andre L. Butler, 21, 332 Homewood Place, Reserve, contempt of court.

€ Tommy B. James, 37, 214 Marigold St., Mt. Airy, being a fugitive from another agency.

€ Corey Victor, 22, 1136 N. Sugar Ridge Drive, LaPlace, DWI, careless operation of a motor vehicle, no seat belt use and no driver’s license.

€ Keith R. Craig, 20, 1800 Tiffany Drive, LaPlace, DWI and reckless operation of a motor vehicle.

€ Percy M. Johnson, 39, 221 Peach St., LaPlace, DWI and speeding.

€ Detroy Lemont Kelly, 24, 1078 Balsam St., LaPlace, domestic violence, simple battery and child desertion.

€ Ronnie King, 18, 1710 Creole St., LaPlace, theft of items valued at less than $100.

€ Bryan Gilmore, 17, 2212 W. Canterbury Drive, LaPlace, violation of protective orders.

€ Keith V. Brock, 41, 221 Magnolia Drive, LaPlace, violation of protective orders.

St. Charles Parish

HAHNVILLE – St. Charles Parish Sheriff Greg C. Champagne reported the following recent arrests:

€ John Bradley, 34, 22 Pinto Lane, St. Rose, aggravated battery and domestic violence.

Capt. Patrick Yoes reported that Bradley was arrested after allegedly burning the victim’s leg with a cigarette, then throwing a plant at the victim. The victim was then allegedly shot numerous times with a toy air gun with small plastic pellets.

€ Elga Simmons Jr., 45, 16415 Old Spanish Trail, Des Allemands, aggravated assault and domestic violence.

Yoes reported that Simmons was arrested after allegely trying to hit the victim’s vehicle, forcing her off the roadway and puling her from the vehicle.

€ Bruce Wilson, 34, 310 Willard St., Luling, aggravated assault, simple battery and domestic violence.

Yoes reported that Wilson was charged after allegedly holding down the victim, then hitting her on the head and face with a closed fist.

€ Nora Alvis, 39, 284 Meadows Drive, Destrehan, aggravated battery and domestic violence.

Yoes reported that Alvis was arrested after allegedly kicking the victim in the leg, then charging at the victim with a knife in her hand and allegedly trying to stab the victim in the neck.
