HAHNVILLE – St. Charles Parish Sheriff Greg C. Champagne reported the following recent arrests and incidents:

Arrests

• Charles Williams, 51, 2801 Holiday Drive, New Orleans, theft.

• Ronald Arceneaux, 45, 2801 Holiday Drive, New Orleans, theft.

Capt. Patrick Yoes reported that Williams and Arceneaux were arrested Feb. 12 after they allegedly approached a 27-year-old Hahnville woman on Jan. 31 and bilked her out of $1,800 in a “pigeon-drop” scam.

• Elton Ingram, 38, 2648 Destrehan Ave., Harvey, aggravated battery, simple criminal damage to property and disturbing the peace by fighting.

• Gilbert Celestine, 27, 264 Boutte Estates Drive, Boutte, aggravated battery, disturbing the peace by fighting and being a fugitive from another agency.

Yoes reported that Ingram and Celestine were arrested Feb. 13 after a fight in which Ingram allegedly hit Celestine with a tire iron and Celestine allegedly hit Ingram with a pipe.
