EDITORIAL: Town to take positive steps

Progress is being made toward a revitalization of the Garyville community, as the town plans its centennial.

A clergy committee has been formed, with the Rev. Wesley Anderson Sr. as chairman, to address many concerns, while parish officials, including Cleveland Farlough and Allen St. Pierre, are laboring to correct drainage problems and make road improvements.

However, this move toward building civic pride in all Garyville citizens will take active concern about the town’s future.
