LAPLACE – St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff Wayne L. Jones reported the following recent arrests:

• Shawn Lee, 29, 611 Revere Drive, LaPlace, distribution of marijuana, probation violation and contempt of court.

• Mark A. Browning, 42, 504 Cardinal St., LaPlace, DWI, driving under suspension and two counts contempt of court.

• Felipe Rodriguez, 22, 2237 Highpoint Road, Snellville, Ga., hold for other agency.

• Lorenso R. Olivas, 22, 2604 Borian Drive, Snellville, Ga., hold for other agency.

• Mazie K. Joseph, 47, 2247 Alexander St., Lutcher, two counts issuing worthless checks valued at less than $100.

• Denise Hawkins 41, 2220 Carr St., Alexandria, vagrancy.

• Clarence Goffner Jr., 22, 2321 Cambridge Drive, LaPlace, 11 counts issuing worthless checks of less than $100.

• Jeffrey C. Mitchell, 29, 311 Regenell St., Marrion, Ark., possession of cocaine.

• Eugene Patterson, 42, 1322 N. Millet Ave., Gramercy, disregarding train signals, driving under suspension and outstanding attachment.

• William Nagel, 47, 523 Walnut St., LaPlace, concealed license plate, driving under suspension, no auto liability insurance, no seat belt use, contempt of court and two counts being a fugitive from another agency.

• Samantha Heacock Bottoms, 29, 4116 Attala Road, Sallis, Miss., theft of items valued at $500 or more.

• Tammy Jackson, 41, 1520 Glendale Drive, LaPlace, being a fugitive from another agency.

• Dale Gordon, 47, 142 W. Ninth St., Vacherie, simple burglary and being a fugitive from another agency.

• Shannon G. Bordelon, 29, 4821 Purdue St., Metairie, DWI, careless operation of a motor vehicle and driving under suspension

• Michael Sobilo, 21, 311 N. Canterbury St., LaPlace, DWI and careless operation of a motor vehicle.

• Lidia Castro, 34, 119 Gail Drive, LaPlace, aggravated battery and domestic violence.

• Chad Michael Grows, 22, 136 La. Highway 639, Edgard, contempt of court.

• Damon K. Jarrow, 27, 420 Marvin Garden Drive, LaPalce, remaining in places after being forbidden and resisting an officer by flight.

• Londell Anderson, 18, 8872 Sunnyside Drive, LaPlace, possession of marijuana and contributing to the delinquency of juveniles.

• Cleveland Johnson Jr., 35, 1837 Lee Drive, Reserve, expired license plate, possession of marijuana and contempt of court.

• Jack Russell, 52, 198 Central Ave., Edgard, DWI second offense and careless operation of a motor vehicle.

• Shelvin M. Dumas, 28, 1616 E. Frisco Drive, LaPlace, disturbing the peace by cursing, resisting an officer by violence and simple assault.

• Rodger Barber Jr., 21, 317 Westmeade Drive, Gretna, simple battery and being a fugitive from another agency.

HAHNVILLE – St. Charles Parish Sheriff Greg C. Champagne reported the following recent arrests and incidents:

Arrests

• Thomas R. Bittel Jr., 23, 602 Grove Ave., Harahan, possession with intent to distribute Oxycontin, obtaining fraudulent prescriptions, principal to obtaining fraudulent prescriptions, illegal possession of Methadone and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Raymond S. Schultz, 34, 2005 James St., Jefferson, possession with intent to distribute Oxycontin, obtaining fraudulent prescriptions, principal to obtaining fraudulent prescriptions, resisting arrest by false misrepresentation and misrepresentation during booking.

• Kelly L. Creel, 22, 118 Ormond Village Drive, Destrehan, improper supervision of a minor by parent and two counts filing forged prescriptions.

• Valarie W.Palermino, 48, 147 Johnson St., St. Rose, DWI, reckless operation of a motor vehicle and hit-and-run driving.

• Kenneth B. Williams Jr., 29, 307 River Village Drive, Destrehan, DWI.

Incidents

• Burglary of a location in the 300 block of River Village Drive, Destrehan, where assorted jewelry of undetermined value was reported stolen.

• Burglary of a location in the 100 block of Clement Street, New Sarpy, where two computers and a modem, all valued at $2,799, were reported stolen.

• Burglary of a location in the 12700 block of U.S. Highway 90, Boutte, where a tool box with assorted tools, all valued at $665, were reported stolen.

• Theft of a 1988 GMC truck valued at $3,000 from a location in the 400 block of Turtle Creek Lane, St. Rose.

• Burglary of a location in the 10200 block of River Road, St. Rose, where a television, two VCRs, filing cabinet and assorted food, total value undetermined, were reported stolen.

• Burglary of a location in the 800 block of Early Street, Paradis, where a leather jacket valued at $200 was reported stolen.

• Burglary of a location in the 200 block of Carolyn Drive, Destrehan, where two cameras, cellular phone, two gold rings and a watch, where reported stolen.

• Burglary of a location in the 300 block of S. Kinler Street, Boutte, where an amplifer, two woofers and a trunk lid, all valued at $550, were reported stolen.

• Theft of a 1997 Yamaha motorcycle valued at $5,500, from a location in the 300 block of Lily Street, Boutte.

• Theft of $40 from a location in the 10200 block of Airline Drive, St. Rose.

• Burglary of a vehicle in the 100 block of Cottage Drive, Luling, where a CD player valued at $300 was reported stolen.

• Theft of a Huffy mountain bicycle valued at $70 from a location in the 200 block of Barton Avenue, Luling.

• Theft of a 1996 Ford F-150 pickup truck valued at $20,000 from a location in the 10300 block of Airline Drive, St. Rose.

• Theft of a 1998 Chevrolet S-10 valued at $10,000 from a location in the 1000 block of Third Street, Norco.

• Burglary of a location in the 200 block of E. Club Drive, St. Rose, where a DVD player and a VCR, valued at $435, were reported stolen.

• Burglary of a location in the 500 block of E. Club Drive, St. Rose, where a CD player valued at $100 was reported stolen.

• Theft of a spare tire valued at $200 from a location in the 400 block of Oakley Lane, Destrehan.

• Burglary of a location in the 13700 block of Old Spanish Trail, Boutte, where a CD player, amplifiers and speakers, valued at $5,900, were reported stolen.

• Burglary of a vehicle in the 200 block of Arlington Drive, Luling, where a CD player valued at $300 was reported stolen.
