Entergy receives high rating

BATON ROUGE – A recent J.D. Power Customer Satisfaction Survey placed Entergy Louisiana in the top quartile among 74 large utilities across the nation. J.D. Power Associates, a global marketing information services company, recently completed its fourth annual survey of electric utility residential customer satisfaction.

Customers were asked to respond to a series of questions relating to five customer satisfaction perspectives: power quality and reliability, company image, price and value, billing and payment and customer service. Overall Customer Satisfaction Index was also scored.

Survey respondents scored Entergy Louisiana in the first quartile in four of the five perspectives for 2002. In Overall Customer Satisfaction, Entergy Louisiana posted a score of 107, topping the industry average of 100. Ranking first in the southern region was South Carolina Electric & Gas with a score of 112. Three other companies in the southern region also scored in the top quartile with rankings between 108 and 110.
