ADAMS

DES ALLEMANDS – Edwina Cadow Adams, 80, a native and resident of Paradis, died Nov. 2. She was the wife of Edwin L. Adams and mother of Kevin Dufrene, Dwight Deloach and F. Delilah, Earl, Fay, Sharon, Edward, Ginger, Ronald, Delcie, Juan, Rhonda and the late Judith Adams.

She was the daughter of the late Sarah Tinney and William F. Cadow and sister of Sybil Gassen, Jeannette Hebert and the late Hilda Warfield, Freida Hebert, Katherine Rauche, Zoe Anders, Eulalie Van Gundy, Thelma Collier, Dorothy Werhan and William, Edward, Clifford, Luther and Ralph Cadow.

She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Services were Nov. 4 at Des Allemands Mennonite Church, Des Allemands, with interment at Mennonite Cemetery, Des Allemands.

BOURGEOIS

PAULINA – Louis Joseph Bourgeois, 80, a native of Lutcher and resident of Paulina, died Nov. 4. He was the husband of Patricia Bourgeois and father of Clarence, Arther and George Bourgeois, Bernadette Brock, Paul Sloan, Pamela Kiley and the late Carol Bourgeois and Jo Ann Dupre.

He was the son of the late Willis and Bernadette Bourgeois and brother of Agnes Carter, Beulah Blount, Theresa Heltz and the late Williama Bourgeois and Melvin, Alvin, Lawrence and William Bourgeois.

He is survived by eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran, who served in WWII, and a member of American Legion Post 175.

Services are today at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Paulina, with interment at the church mausoleum. Visitation begins at 8 a.m.

BOLDING

METAIRIE – Stephanie Ann Bolding, 44, a native of Kenner, former resident of Convent and resident of LaPlace for 10 years, died Oct. 26. She was the mother of Kirsten, LiaKeedra and Dale Bolding Jr.

She was the sister of Gwendolyn, Kenneth, Edward, Jeffery, Andrew and George Robinson.

She was a retired laborer at Shell Oil Company.

Services were Nov. 2 at Calvary Baptist Church, Metairie, with interment at Providence Memorial Park.

GAUDET

THIBODAUX – Phillip “Bearcat,” “Junior” Joseph Gaudet III, 52, a native and resident of Luling, died Nov. 3. He was the former husband of Joan Gaudet and father of Jesse Gaudet and Becky Gaudet.

He was also the son of the late Phillip Gaudet Jr. and Loretta Sevin Gaudet; stepson of Della Somme Gaudet; brother of Carol LeSage; and stepbrother of Michele Osburn, Henrietta Somme and Ava Somme.

Services were Nov. 5 at Falgout Funeral Home, Raceland, with interment at St. Joseph Cemetery, Thibodaux.

HIGGINS

METAIRIE – Marjorie Hardin Higgins, a resident of St. Rose, died Nov. 1. She was the wife of the late Thomas Higgins and mother of Bette Guerineau, Ruby Regina Sheefel and Timothy and Daniel Higgins.

She was the sister of Gloria Putfark and the late Laura O’Malley and Roy Hardin Jr.

She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Services were Nov. 4 in the chapel of Tharp Sontheimer Tharp Funeral Home, Metairie, with interment at Garden of Memories.

MARTINEZ

METAIRIE – Betty Ann Rebouche Martinez, 73, a native of Marksville and resident of St. Rose, died Oct. 31.

She was the mother of Stewart and William Martinez Jr. and Katherine Tastet.

She was the sister of Barbara Rebouche, Emma McNeil and Herman Firmin.

She is also survived by eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services were Nov. 4 at Lamana-Panno-Fallo Funeral Home, Metairie, with interment at Garden of Memories.

SCHNEIDER

KENNER – Lawrence Charles “Larry” Schneider, 52, a native of New Orleans and resident of St. Rose for four years, died Oct 28.

He was the son of Gwendoline Wade Schneider.

He was a forklift operator for Dupuy Storage and formerly employed as a forklift operator at Winn-Dixie Warehouse.

Private memorial services were Nov. 2 at Williams Boulevard Baptist Church, Kenner.
