Arrests

• Rydell C. Washington, 18, 256 Paul Fredrick St., Luling, possession with intent to distribution cocaine.

• John B. Lumar Sr., 42, Central Avenue, Edgard, possession with intent to distribute cocaine and remaining after being forbidden.

• Monica Bychurch, 39, 216 Barton Ave., Luling, possession with intent to distribute Xanax, no driver’s license, no vehicle registration, no headlights, no taillights, no seat belt use and attachment for contempt of court.

• Cleopatra Jenkins, 29, 15802 Rose Pine Court, Cypress, Texas, DWI, reckless operation of a motor vehicle and no driver’s license.

• Julie L. Lacoste, 34, 425 Cedarwood Drive, Mandeville, DWI, disregarding red light, driving under suspension, open container violation and attachment for contempt of court.

• Brandy H. Broussard, 32, 185 Villere Drive, Destrehan, DWI and speeding.

LAPLACE – St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff Wayne L. Jones reported the following recent arrests:

• George M. Smith, 47, 106 W. Airline Drive, Gramercy, issuing worthless checks over $500, issuing worthless checks valued between $100-$500, contempt of court and being a fugitive from another agency.

• Glynn Love, 52, 1669 N. Robertson St., New Orleans, domestic violence and simple assault.

• William Greenup Jr., 23, 1043 Gemini Drive, Reserve, disturbing the peace by being intoxicated.

• Melvin A. Picolo, 27, 1916 Ellerslie Drive, LaPlace, simple battery.

• Sedric Thomas Johnson, 31, 160 Ash St., LaPlace, speeding and disturbing the peace by cursing.

• Raydell Scott, 26, 160 Marigold St., Mt. Airy, two counts illegal possession of stolen firearms, two counts illegal carrying of a concealed weapon and six counts possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

• Darren M. Ketchens, 19, 3925 Gabriel St., Vacherie, criminal trespass.

• Anthony Jasmine Jr., 18, 3318 Baytree St., Vacherie, criminal trespass.

• Kelly Taylor, 62, 714 Little Hope St., Garyville, vagrancy.

• Darnell J. Randle, 23, 3020 Essex St., LaPlace, remaining in places after being forbidden.

• Courtney Joseph, 20, 248 Pine St., LaPlace, remaining in places after being forbidden and contempt of court.
