CARNAGGIO

CONVENT – Mary Perniciaro Carnaggio, 89, a native of Uncle Sam Plantation, Convent, and resident of Hester, died July 29. She was the wife of the late Camille S. Carnaggio and mother of Vita Chenet, Camille and Trudy Carnaggio and the late Caroline St. Pierre and Frank Carnaggio.

She was the daughter of the late George and Caroline Alfano Pernicaro and sister of Frances Accardo, Lucy Boudreaux and the late Caroline “Tina” St. Pierre and Frank Carnaggio.

She is also survived by seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Serivces are today at 1 p.m. at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, Convent, with interment at the church mausoleum. Visitation starts at 10 a.m.

LANDECHE

NORCO – Grace Margaret DeRose Landeche, 77, a native of New Orleans and resident of Norco for 48 years, died July 25. She was the wife of Roy Landeche and mother of Jacquelyn Madere.

She was the daughter of the late William Sr. and Phyllis Stritzinger DeRose and sister of Phyllis Richarme and the late Marie Beauvais and William DeRose III.

She is also survived by one grandchild and one great-grandchild.

Services were July 29 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Norco, with interment at St. Charles Borromeo Mausoleum, Destrehan.

ROBERTSON

HAHNVILLE – Earl Robertson, 95, a native and resident of Hahnville, died July 22. He was the husband of Evelina “Ms. Piggy” Gross Robertson and father of Alma Cash, Alice Weed, Vivian Clark, Evelina and Clarence Robertson and the late Gladys Sporels and Irma and Earl Robertson Jr.

He was the son of the late Ike and Mariah Washington Robertson and brother of the late Olivia Parquet and Hilda Gaines.

He is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

Services were July 30 at True Vine Baptist Church, Hahnville, with interment at St. Charles Cemetery, Luling.

SCHAUBHUT

LULING – Anthony Luke Schaubhut Sr., a resident of Luling, died July 29. He was the husband of Aline Bourg Schaubhut and father of Toni Landry, Robin Dupre and Anthony Jr., Michael, Kevin and Blaine Schaubhut.

He was the son of the late Edward and Elizabeth Champagne Schaubhut and brother of March Dufrene, Joyce Donnaud, Mickey and Eddie Schaubhut and the late Dean Folse and Iris Lunk.

He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Services are today at noon at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Luling, with interment at St. Charles Cemetery, Luling. Visitation starts at 9:30 a.m.

WILLIAMS

GRAMERCY – Victoria J. Williams, 69, a native and resident of Gramercy, died July 23.

She was the wife of the late Alexander Williams Sr. and mother of Joyce Lewis, Chanel Fleming and Annette, Lee Ann, Lenora, Alexander Jr. and the late Bryan Williams.

She was the daughter of the late Valentine Wallace and Alice Turner and sister of Mary James, Rose Brooks, Freddie and Clarence Wallace and the late Irene Green, Philimena Brown and John Wallace.

She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services were July 30 at New Zion Full Gospel Baptist Church, Gramercy, with interment at Western Cemetery, Lutcher.

ZERINGUE

HAHNVILLE – Dave Joseph Zeringue, 58, a native of New Orleans and resident of Hahnville, died July 28. He was the father of Christopher and Quinn Zeringue.

He was the son of Henry and Beulah Webre Zeringue and brother of Janice Gaspard and Janet Edwards.

Services are today at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Hahnville, with interment at St. Charles Mausoleum, Luling. Visitation starts at 9:30 a.m.
