St. John the Baptist Parish

LAPLACE – St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff Wayne L. Jones reported the following recent arrests:

• August Roy Jr., 24, 1314 Flanders St., New Orleans, distribution of cocaine, flight from an officer in a motor vehicle, passing on the shoulder, littering, improper lane usage, improper driving on a divided highway, reckless operation, disregarding passing zones, resisting an officer by flight, obstruction of justice by simple assault, bringing contraband into a penal institution and three counts disregarding traffic lights.

• Kenneth Kelso, 42, 2301 Houma St., Metairie, DWI second offense and reckless operation of a motor vehicle.

• Allen Sanders Jr., 26, 206 E. 27th St., Reserve, remaining in places after being forbidden, resisting an officer by flight and four counts contempt of court.

• Jude Oubre, 31, 5980 Dandridge Lane, San Diego, Calif., disturbing the peace by being intoxicated, resisting an officer by refusing to move on and disturbing the peace by cursing.

• Dwayne Lennix, 33, 182 Ash St., LaPlace, possession of stolen things valued at more than $500, applicant’s exam required for license class, switched license plate and disregarding traffic signal.

• Joseph R. Thomas, 17, 1200 Frankel Ave., Metairie, simple burglary.

• Joshua M. Alleman, 17, 6809 Arthur St., Metairie, simple burglary.

• Shawn C. Fisher, 32, 2423 Williamsburg Drive, LaPlace, remaining in places after being forbidden.

• Charles R. Miller, 62, 268 E. Fifth St., Edgard, two counts aggravated assault.

• Andre L. Butler, 20, 332 Homewood Place, Reserve, contempt of court.

• Norman J. Ellis, 49, 118 Cranberry St., Garyville, fugitive from another agency.

• Wendell Wilkens, 25, 600 Manchester St., LaPlace, speeding, driving under suspension and simple battery.

• Terral M. Charles, 17, 193 E. 11th St., Reserve, illegal carrying of a concealed weapon.

• Kerwin Wade Belvin, 36, 257 Daffodil St., Mt. Airy, fugitive from another agency, issuing worthless checks of less than $100, two counts issuing worthless checks of more than $100.

• Patricia Chairs, 52, 730 Filmore Drive, Kenner, DWI, careless operation of a motor vehicle, no driver’s license, no license plate.

• Kenneth J. Brasseaux, 32, 1330 N. Ezidore St., Gramercy, three counts contempt of court.
