Arrests

• Robert Smith, 41, 33 Cynthia St., Waggaman, theft of goods and resisting an officer.

• Barbara Kestle, 31, 136 Eisenhower St., St. Rose, aggravated battery.

• Erwin Lee Morris, 45, E. Easy Street, New Sarpy, disturbing the peace, simple battery and sexual battery.

• Nathaniel White, 47, 38 Diamond Road, Norco, DWI second offense, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, aggravated flight, driving under suspension and open container violation.

• Anthony T. Straughter, 29, 712 Mockingbird Lane, St. Rose, aggravated battery and attachment for speeding.

• Kim R. Straughter, 32, 2801 Holliday Drive, New Orleans, aggravated battery and being a fugitive from another agency.

• John J. Caldwell, 47, 475 Apple St., Norco, possession of methamphetamines with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, illegal possession of a firearm and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

• Timone B. Nash, 21, 608 Paul Fredrick St., Luling, aggravated battery by shooting.

• Kendra M. Lewis, 22, 466 Marino Drive, Norco, possession of stolen property.

• Terrel Hutchinson, 22, address unknown, possession of stolen property.

• Jamaal L. William, 20, 316 Schoolhouse Road, Killona, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, unsafe vehicle condition and attachment for failure to perform community service.

• Robert W. Hughey, 33, 825 Willow Oak, Mandeville, possession of stolen property.

• Louis A. Matherne, 65, 4235 Bayou Gauche Road, Bayou Gauche, DWI, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, no driver’s license and no seat belt use.

• George A. Goodney, 52, 22298 River Road, St. Rose, DWI, reckless operation of a motor vehicle and illegal driving on the levee.

Incidents

• Burglary of a location in the 200 block of Washington Street, Norco, were a saxophone and a flute, valued at $3,200, were reported stolen.

• Theft of a pit bull terrier valued at $150 from a location in the 100 block of Brown’s Lane, St. Rose.

• Theft of a seed broadcaster with tractor attachment, tractor draw and four ring-style tractor pins, all valued at $908, from a construction site on Airline Drive.

• Theft of a 1989 Chevrolet Astrovan valued at $800 from a location on Carriage Lane, Destrehan.

• Burglary of a vehicle in the 800 block of Fonda Street, Paradis, where a cellular phone, pager, Jenson stereo/CD player and two amplifiers, all valued at $556, were reported stolen.

• Burglary of a vehicle in the 17000 block of River Road, Taft, where a CD player valued at $400 was reported stolen.

• Burglary of a location in the 100 block of Diamond Road, Norco, where a color printer, computer wiring, computer speaker and a central processing unit, valued at $600, were reported stolen.

• Burglary of a location in the 100 block of Gassen Lane, Luling, where a SKS Paratrooper, 30-round Banana clip and a wooden gun cabinet, all valued at $548, were reported stolen.

• Theft of a tractor-trailer valued at $5,000 from the Monsanto plant in Luling.

• Gerald R. Freeland Jr., 39, 8777 Sunnyside Drive, LaPlace, theft over $500, conspiracy to armed robbery, criminal mischief by falsifying police report.

• Joseph A. Moreau, 24, 564 Camellia Ave., LaPlace, possession of marijuana.
