EDWARDS

MARRERO – Mathilda Jane Edwards, 92, a native of Edgard and resident of Marrero, died Feb. 2. She was the mother of Rosalie Johnson, Sylvia Hurst, Patricia Wilson and Julius, Chester Jr. and the late Leo Boudoin Jr.

She was the daughter of the late Silas and Virginia Edwards and sister of the late Agnes Tillman, Amy Edwards, Virginia Boudoin, Lorenza Saul and Ernest, Moses, Cleveland and Ferdinand Edwards.

She is also survived by 36 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren and was preceded in death by four grandchildren.

Services were Feb. 8 at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Marrero, with interment at Restlawn Park Cemetery, Avondale.

FAUCHEUX

VACHERIE – Lucien E. “Boone” Faucheux Jr., 50, a native and resident of Vacherie, died Feb. 5. He was the husband of Brenda Faucheux and father of Benjamin, Blake and Brent Faucheux.

He was the son of the late Lucien and Maisy Faucheux and brother of Elizabeth Zeringue, Claire Tassin, Laura Scioneaux and Paul and the late Lionel Zeringue.

Services were Feb. 8 at St. Philip Catholic Church, Vacherie, with interment at the church cemetery.

HARMON

METAIRIE – Heather Breaux Harmon, 31, a native of Metairie, former resident of Lafayette and resident of Luling for eight years, died Feb. 4. She was the wife of John “Tommy” Harmon IV and mother of Haley and Hunter Harmon.

She was the daughter of Berry Breaux and Jane Harris Duke and sister of Alexis Daly and E. Susan and Barry “Jay” Breaux.

She was the grandchild of P. Paul Breaux and J.C. Harris.

She was the office manager of Civil Construction Co.

Services were Feb. 8 in the chapel of Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, Metairie, with interment at Metairie Cemetery.

HOLLAND

RESERVE – Patricia Ann Holland, 43, a native and resident of LaPlace, died Feb. 3. She was the mother of Bruce Burden Jr.

She was the sister of Cheryl Gordon and Michael, Barry, Allan and Roland Holland.

She is also survived by two grandchildren.

Services were Feb. 8 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Reserve, with interment at St. Peter Cemetery, Reserve.

KEYES

LAPLACE – Naomi Lucas Keyes, 75, a native of Missouri and resident of LaPlace for 12 years, died Feb. 7. She was the wife of Leslie Keyes Sr. and mother of Judy LeBlanc and Leslie Jr., Stanley, Steve and Moises Keyes.

She was the daughter of the late John and Edith Lucas and sister of Iris Eaton, Juanita Ulmer, John “Ikey” Lucas Jr. and the late Azella King.

She is also survived by six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Services are today at noon at First Baptist Church, LaPlace, with interment at Poplar Head Missionary Baptist Cemetery, Franklinton. Visitation starts at 10 a.m.

ORLANDO

NEW ORLEANS – Dominic “Don” C. Orlando, 93, a native of New Orleans, former resident of LaPlace and resident of New Orleans, died Feb. 4. He was the husband of Antoinette Orlando and father of Pyllis Valdin

He is also survived by three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was a former produce wholesaler at the French Market.

Services were Feb. 7 in the chapel of Lake Lawn Funeral Home, Metairie, with interment at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.

SCIONEAUX

LAPLACE – Wilson “Toot” Scioneaux Jr., 68, a native and resident of Reserve, died Feb. 6. He was the son of the late Wilson and Eva Scioneaux and brother of Alice McGuire, Hazel Roche, Olga Englade and the late Nelva Oncale and Edwin Scioneaux.

Services are today at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, LaPlace, with interment at St. Peter Cemetery, Reserve. Visitation starts at 8:30 a.m.

WEBRE

PAULINA – Frank B. “49” Webre Jr., 81, a native of Edgard and resident of Paulina, died Feb. 3. He was the husband of Inez Babin Webre and father of Annette Martinez, Yvonne W. Waggenspack and Donald, Herman, Frank III, Kevin, Vincent, Clarence, Chris, Anthony and David Webre.

He is also survived by 29 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren and was preceded in death by one grandchild and one great-grandchild.

Services are today at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Paulina, with interment at the church mausoleum. Visitation starts at 8 a.m.

WILLIAMS

PARADIS – Mildred “T-Mill” Curry Williams, 54, a native of Anniston, Ala., and resident of Paradis for 34 years, died Jan. 31. She was the wife of Curtis B. Williams and mother of Stephanie Curry, Tina Wesley and Shannon Williams.

She was the sister of Alice Bush, Michael Alexander and Jeanette, Willie and Samuel Curry.

She is also survived by one grandchild.

She was the church secretary of First Baptist Church in Paradis for 22 years.

Services are today at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church, Paradis, with interment at the church cemetery. Visitation starts at 9 a.m.

WILSON

NEW SARPY – Elijah Wilson Jr., 73, a native of Ironton and resident of LaPlace, died Feb. 1. He was the husband of the late Delores F. Wilson and father of Elijah Degree and Calvin Parker.

He was the son of the late Elijah Sr. and Elmer J. Wilson and brother of Emmer Trufant, Gladys Johnson, Pearl Jenifer and Betty, Anna and the late Mildred, Joyce, Manases and Nathiel Wilson.

He is also survived by five grandchildren.

Services were Feb. 8 at New Jerusalem Baptist Church, New Sarpy, with interment at Ironton Cemetery.
