GRAMERCY – Gladys Guidry Arceneaux, 90, a native of Lutcher and resident of Gramercy, died May 22. She was the wife of the late Edmond Arceneaux Sr. and mother of Barbara Duhe, Janet “Jeannie”Calcagno, Lorraine Giardina, Yvonne Veron and Edmond Arceneaux Jr.She was also the daughter of the late Louis and Georgine Pollet Guidry and sister of Rita Mae Ory and the late Evelyn Millet and Agnes, Reynolds, Lewis and Alden Guidry.She is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren.Services were May 25 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Gramercy, with interment at St. Joseph Mausoleum, Paulina.KILLINGER
LAPLACE – Isabelle Ring Killinger, 93, a native of New York and resident of LaPlace for the past five years, died May 22. She was the mother of Paul Killinger.She was also the daughter of the late Paul and Elizabeth Layka Ring and sister of the late Alice Willis.She is survived by two grandchildren.Services were May 24 in the chapel of Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, LaPlace, with interment at Valley Forge Memorial Gardens, King of Prussia, Pa.NEDD
HAHNVILLE – Orelia Nedd, 81, a native and resident of Hahnville, died May 17. She was the wife of Warren Thomas Sr. and mother of Beulah Carey and Warren Thomas Jr.She was also the daughter of the late Ernestine Johnson and Jules Nedd and sister of the late Albert Nedd.She is also survived by two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.Services are today at 11 a.m. at Philadelphia Baptist Church, Hahnville, with interment at the church cemetery. She was the wife of Richard Parker Oubre and mother of Richard “Derf,” Oren, Giselle, Louis and the late Baby Girl Oubre.She was also the daughter of the late Louis Sr. and Emma LeBrun Maurin and sister of Marjorie McTopy, Elaine Delaneuville, Marie Montz, JoAnn Montz, Louis Maurin Jr. and the late Joseph Maurin.She is also survived by six grandchildren.Services are today at noon at St. Peter Catholic Church, Reserve, with interment at the church cemetery. He was the husband of Bertha Davis Rodriguez and father of Valerie Elliott, Gwendolyn Brown and Stephanie, Janelle, Regina, Reginald and Arthur Rodriguez Jr.He was also the son of the late Lawrence Sr. and Bessie Gay Rodriguez and brother of Harden Cayette and Lawrence Rodriguez Jr.He is also survived by three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.Services were May 24 at Pilgrim Progress Missionary Baptist Church, New Orleans, with interment at Buena Vista Cemetery, Lemonville.TROXCLAIR
NORCO – Ernest Sidney Troxclair Jr., 69, a native of Reserve and resident of Destrehan, died May 23. He was the husband of Barbara Brignac Troxclair and father of Lori Oubre, Lisa Corso, Lana Falgoust and Dale Troxclair.He was also the son of the late Lillie Marie Miller and Ernest Troxclair Sr. and brother of Mary Ann Daigle and Lucy Duhe. He was preceded in death by an infant brother.He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.Services are today at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Norco.nnterment will follow at St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery, Destrehan.
