John and Linda Harvill of Conyers, Ga. announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Jessi Lin Dow of Conyers, Ga. to Walter William Lanuza of Conyers, Ga., son of William and Mary Lanuza of Conyers, Ga. The couple plan to marry June 23 at Salem United Methodist Church in Cov-ington, Ga. A reception will follow at The Oaks Golf and Country Club in Coving-ton, Ga. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Walter and Gaila Everett of LaPlace, Delma Harvill of Conyers, Ga. and the late Jack Harvill. She is a 2000 graduate of Georgia State University and received a degree in Spanish literature. She is employed as a Spanish tea-cher by Fernandina Beach High School in Fernandina Beach, Fla. The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Severina Lanuza of Man-illa, Philippines, and the late Eduardo Lanuza and Villa Lily Gacer. He is employed as an AOL Member Specialist by American Online in Jack-sonville, Fla. Following the wedding, the couple will reside in St. Marys, Ga.
