The end of December was a very exciting time for 19 dancers from Dance Unlimited of the River Parishes. They were invited to perform at the National Football League’s playoff game featuring the New Orleans Saints and the St Louis Rams. The 9-10-year-old class from the Destrehan studio performed a jazz routine to “Who Let The Dogs Out” during the pre-game activities. “What a great experience for these kids,” owner Duanne Cazalot said. “They did a great job performing before a packed house and even having our own Saints come away victorious. What more could you ask for.” The routine was choreographed by Duanne Cazalot and Angie Lehrmann and featured Magen LeBlanc, Alyson Waguespack, MaQue Hollins, Ashley Freeman, Kristen Bergeron, Chelsea Troxler, Randi Marshall, Kyra Duhe, Victoria Pellerin, Shaina Lin Lewis, Kaitlyn Nicholson, Nikki Sebring, Kandace Lemoine, Jasmine Atkins, Claire Robichaux, Alyssa Schneider, Heather Croissant, Lacyce Mizell and Maria Lamothe. Coordinators were Samantha Sidwell, Nicole LeBlanc, Charlotte Troxler and Cynthia Atkins.
