LUTCHER – Lutcher placed two players and St. Charles Catholic and St. Jamesone apiece on the all-District 6-III volleyball first team released this week.

Kristi Breaux of district champion E.D. White was selected as the districtMVP. The Lady Cardinals’ Mary Cavell was named the coach of the year.Jill Martin and Kassie Waguespack were named from Lutcher. Sarah Weberwas selected from St. Charles Catholic and Tondra Young from St. James.Named to the second team were Katie Arcuri and Monica Arcuri from St.

Charles Catholic and Michelle Roussel from Lutcher.

Joining Breaux on the first team were teammates Jessica Angelette and Sara Picou. E.D. White also placed Jamie Cox, Tania Heater and Leigh AnnRitchie on the second team.

Selected honorable mention all-district were Amanda Helm and Heather Heltz from St. Charles Catholic and Jawanza Hathorn and Sharmaine Jones fromSt. James.

FOUR MAKE ALL-DISTRICT FIRST TEAM – RESERVE – The District 8-V champion Reserve Christian Lady Eagles placed four players on the all- district team released recently.

Named all-district first team were senior setter Angie Tucker, senior outside hitter Summer Vicknair, junior middle blocker/attacker Renee Delaneuville and junior middle blocker/ attacker Amber Schlesinger.

Junior outside hitter Mary Venus and sophomore setter Dunia Medina were named to the second team. Senior middle blocker/attacker Natalie Simonwas an honorable mention selection.

Faith Christian junior outside hitter Jessica Foy and sophomore setter Jessica Herzog were also named first team all-district. Second teamselections were sophomore outside hitter Mia Bertrand, sophomore middle hitter April Arnolie, junior middle hitter Sarah Willis and freshman setter Hayley Elias. Senior outside hitter Kanika Autman and freshman setter CaseyFerrand were named honorable mention all-district.
