LAPLACE – E.D. White captured the St. Charles Catholic Tournament with a34-28 victory over Crescent City Wednesday night.

In the third-place game, St. Charles Catholic defeated Reserve Christian, 35-31. Amanda Heltz led the Lady Comets (3-3) with 14 points while Lindsey St.Pierre added 11. Trenell Smith had 13 points for Reserve Christian (3-5)while Amber Schlesinger added eight.

E.D. White advanced to the championship game with a 30-28 victory over St.Charles Catholic Tuesday night. Heltz had a game-high 14 points for St.Charles Catholic. Crescent City also advanced with a 54-44 win over ReserveChristian depsite 15 points by Smith.

In earlier action, Riverside defeated Hahnville, 81-20, as Crystal Rome scored 15.
