BROUSSARD – Euline and Emile Guilbeau of Broussard announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Clarissa A. Guilbeau, to Robert L. Boriel, son of Iris and Denis Boriel of LaPlace. The couple plan to wed Nov. 11 at 2 p.m. at The Ballroom in Lafayette, withJudge Allen Babineaux officiating. A reception will also at The Ballroom.The bride-elect is a graduate of Ovey Comeaux High School of Lafayette. She also attended the University of Southwestern Louisiana.

The prospective bridegroom is a graduate of East St. John High School and Louisiana State University, where he received a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering.
