DEAR EDITOR: The enormously popular television show, “Survivor,” has ended, and I did not watch it. However, I did read a recent article describing it as “a bunchof losers trying to coexist and stab one another in the back,” and “a few good guys being gobbled up by the hungrier dogs,” characterized by “scheming villainy, paranoia, secrecy, calm-faced duplicity, group mind games, and self-preservation.”I now realize I didn’t miss a thing, because I am a long time close observer of the St. Charles Parish political scene.
