River Parish Tigers to meet, hear from LSU offensive coordinator

LAPLACE – The River Parish Tigers will meet at BB’s in LaPlace Monday.
The meeting is open to all LSU supporters. The guest speaker will be LSUoffensive coordinator and quarterback coach John “Jimbo” Fisher, who will provide Tiger fans with insight into the new offensive system and personnel.
The meeting will begin with a social at 6 p.m., followed by a meal at 6:30p.m. and the guest speaker at 7 p.m. There will be a cash bar. Cost at thedoor is $5 for members, $3 for 12 and under and $10 for non-members.
The River Parish Tigers group was formed in 1995 to support and foster the spirit of LSU in the River Parishes. The group is made up of LSUsupporters from St. John, St. James and St. Charles parishes. Whilesupporting sports teams is fun and exciting, one of the primary goals of the group has been to establish an endowed scholarship to LSU for local students. One of the group’s fund-raisers is a raffle with prizes of twoseason tickets to either football or baseball, first place gets first choice.
Dues for the group are $15 for an individual and $25 for a family.
