BRAQUET DESTREHAN – Clara Braquet, 63, a native of Crowley and resident of Destrehan for two years, died June 18. She was the mother of Lisa Stantonand Stephen Braquet.

She was also the daughter of Zula Burleigh.

She is also survived by five grandchildren.

Services were June 21 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Destrehan.

DUHE LAPLACE – Marie G. Duhe, 85, a native of Gretna and resident of Reservefor 70 years, died June 22. She was the wife of Junius Duhe and mother ofLinda Acosta, Sheila Stein and Dave and Brent “Cool” Duhe.

She was also the daughter of the late Salvadore and Concetta Guccione Saragusa and sister of Mary Guccione, Josie Celino, Angelina Este, Carlo Saragusa, Jack Saragusa and the late Frances Boudreaux and Dominic, Sam and Roy Saragusa.

She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Services are today at 9 a.m. in the chapel of Millet-Guidry Funeral Home,LaPlace, with interment at St. Peter Catholic Cemetery, Reserve.Visitation starts at 8 a.m.

EUSEA BOUTTE – Patricia Petit Eusea, 51, a native of New Orleans and resident of Ama, died June 21. She was the wife of Russell Eusea and mother ofRhonda Badeaux and Jaci Cressionie.

She was also the daughter of the late Hilton “Shine” Sr. and Rose RobertPetit and sister of Betsy Zeringue, Ronnie Petit Sr. and the late Hilton”Squirt” Petit Jr.

She is also survived by three grandchildren.

Services are today at 10 a.m. at Boutte Assembly of God Church, withinterment at Sunset Cemetery, Bayou Gauche. Visitation starts at 8 a.m.

INGRAM BOUTTE – Barney Joe Ingram Sr., 56, a native of Jackson County, Fla., andresident of Luling, died June 19. He was the husband of Elmeer HarrisonIngram and father of Tracie Madere and Barney Ingram Jr.

He was also the son of the late A.J. and Ida Bryant Ingram and brother ofArgie Bass and Jasper Ingram.

He is also survived by three grandchildren. He was preceded in death byone grandchild.

Services were June 23 at West St. Charles Baptist Church, Boutte, withinterment at St. Charles Cemetery, Luling.

KELLER RESERVE – Stanley P. “Snoz” Keller, 43, a native and resident of Reserve,died June 21. He was the father of Chris and Emily Keller.He was also the son of Mary Ann D. Keller and the late Sidney “Snoz”Keller and brother of Cathy Duet and Ricky Keller.

Services were June 23 at St. Peter Catholic Church, Reserve, withinterment at the church cemetery.

MAYO ST. JAMES – Melba M. Mayo, 57, a native and resident of St. James, diedJune 18. She was the mother of Troy Ellis-Poche and the late Gary Mayo.She was also the daughter of Foster and Vivian Mayo and sister of Florida Rodrigue, Betty Frazier, Angella Landry, Judith Gaudia, Claire, Clifford, Robert and Lester Mayo and the late Norman, Harold and Stephen Mayo.

She is also survived by three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services are today at St. James Catholic Church, St. James, withinterment at the church cemetery. Visitation starts at 9 a.m.

MULLER LULING – Jerry Joseph Muller Sr., 67, a native of Killona and resident ofLuling, died June 22. He was the husband of Rea Plaisance Muller andfather of Rhonda Strother and Randall, Gary, Paul and Jerry Muller Jr.

He was also the son of the late Edmond Sr. and Rosana Sarrah Muller andbrother of Don Muller, Geraldine Champagne, Mary Ockman and the late Corinne Guillot, Maria Champagne and Ernest Sr., Edmond Jr., Rene andRichard Muller Sr.

He is also survived by six grandchildren.

Services are today at 10 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, Luling, withinterment at St. Charles Cemetery, Luling. Visitation starts at 8 a.m.

OUBRE ST. JAMES – John Oscar Oubre, 68, a native and resident of Vacherie, diedJune 21. He was the husband of Marlene Brown Oubre and father of Michael,John, Eric, Donovan, Theron and Shawn Oubre.

He was also the son of the late Amelise Sr. and Katherine Dumas Oubre andbrother of Leona Hodges, Amiee Narcisse, Ursin Oubre Sr., Amelise Jr. andFreddie Oubre Sr. and the late Josephine Scott, Norine Domino andKatherine, Eddie and Joseph Oubre.

He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services are today at 1 p.m. at St. James Catholic Church, St. James, withinterment at St. Phillip Catholic Cemetery, Vacherie. Visitation starts at12:30 p.m.

PEREZ KENNER – Alba Mirian Perez, 55, a native of Confradilla, Cortes, Honduras, and a resident of Destrehan for 16 years, died June 20. She was the wifeof Oscar G. Perez Sr., mother of Juan Paredes and Oscar Perez Jr. and step-mother of Oscar E. Perez.She was also the daughter of Santiago Jordan and Teodolinda Vargas and sister of Maria Eulalia, Marina de Mejia and Oscar Vargas.

She is also survived by two grandchildren.

Services are today at 10 a.m. in the chapel of L.A. Muhleisen and SonFuneral Home, Kenner, with interment at St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery,Destrehan. Visitation starts at 9 a.m.

PITITFILS DESTREHAN – Earl Andrew Pititfils, 73, a native of New Orleans, resident of St. Rose for 50 years and resident of Gretna for four years, died June21. He was the husband of the late Ruby Cleveland Courtade Pititfils andfather of Lyle Pititfils.

He was also the son of the late Earl G. and Amy Jackson Pititfils andbrother of Iris Kern, Grace LaCoste and Ellis Pititfils.

He is also survived by three grandchildren.

Services were June 23 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church,Destrehan, with interment at the church cemetery.

ROTOLO BATON ROUGE – Maggie Rumfola Rotolo, a native of St. James Parish andresident of Baton Rouge, died June 19. She was the wife of the lateVincenzo “Charlie” Rotolo.

She is survived by three children, four grandchildren and 12 great- grandchildren.

Services were June 21 at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, Baton Rouge, with interment at Resthaven Cemetery.

SPEED NEW ORLEANS – Charles Speed, 54, a native of New Orleans and resident of St. Rose, died June 17. He was the father of Charles Speed Jr.He was the son of Madeline Jenkins, stepson of Thomas Jenkins and brother of Shirleen Anckle, Leontine Brown, Lisa Williams and Ronald and Johnny Speed Jr.

He is also survived by two grandchildren.

Services were June 21 in the chapel of Professional Funeral Services, New Orleans, with interment at Carrollton Cemetery.

WEBRE PARADIS – Cecile Roussel Webre, 88, a native of Edgard and resident of Luling, died May 17. She was the wife of the late Icar Webre and mother ofRosadel, Mary and Alfred Webre.

She was the daughter of the late Lina Rodrigue Roussel and Benjamin A.

Roussel and sister of the late Benjamin Roussel.

She is also survived by one grandchild.

She was a retired R.N. and homemaker, a Hotel Dieu graduate, an associateof Brother Andre’ and member of the St. John the Baptist Catholic ChurchCouncil of Catholic Women.

Memorial services were May 20 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church,Paradis.
