EDGARD – The West St. John High School senior class of 2000 held itsgraduation ceremony May 20 in the West St. John High School gym.Seventy-six seniors graduated.
Carl Gauthier was valedictorian, and Gary Watson was salutatorian.
Gauthier graduated with a 4.5 grade point average. He will be attendingNicholls State University in the fall, where he will major in chemistry.
Watson had a 4.45 grade point average and will be majoring in pharmaceuticalsciences at Xavier University.
