BATON ROUGE – The Louisiana High School Coaches Association All-Star baseball doubleheader will have a new home Saturday.

The doubleheader, which had been held at Trigre Moore Field on the University of Louisiana-Lafayette campus in recent years, has been moved to Bringhurst Field in Alexandria. The first game is scheduled for 2 p.m.No local players were selected to the East and West teams but a number of players familiar to local fans, including Brad Rodrigue of Ridgewood and Will Walter of Newman, have been invited to play.

East Squad Pitchers: Mark Weinmunson, DeLaSalle; Matthew Peterson, Rapides; Wes Eaton, Central; Nathan Gautreau, St. Amant; Hunter Spedale, Catholic (BR).Catchers: Dustin Weaver, St. Amant; Bart Dugdale, Cedar Creek.First base: Brandon Holleman, Denham Springs.
