If we are completely honest with ourselves, we all have insecurities about something.

When you are all alone, you probably have some little thought that haunts you, such as – I’m not pretty enough, or I’m too fat, or people probably don’t like me, or I’m not successful enough. The definition of insecure is “unsafe, liable to give way, lacking confidence.” I’d like to show you how the Bible says that we have no reasonto be insecure if we are sons and daughters of God.

In Titus 2:13 and 2 Peter 1:1, the Bible says that Jesus Christ is our Saviour. InPsalms 46:1, it says that He is our refuge. Therefore, we are not “unsafe” if weare in Christ.

Psalms 121:3, says that He will not allow our foot to be moved. Therefore, we arenot “liable to give way.” And, Proverbs 3:26, tells us that we are not “lackingconfidence,” because the Lord will be our confidence.

The Bible tells us repeatedly in Genesis that we are made in God’s image and that He fashioned us in His likeness. God is perfect, and He did not make any mistakeswhen He was creating you. Every physical feature and every gift and talent wasgiven to us by Him.

So be secure in the fact that you are exactly who God wants you to be.
