ANCALE LAPLACE – Harry F. Ancale Jr., 54, native and resident of LaPlace, died April20. He was the husband of Penny Ancale and father of Angele Ancale.He was also the son of Clara Ancale and the late Harry Ancale Sr. andbrother of Melissa Van Horn.

Services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church,LaPlace, with interment at St. Peter’s Cemetery, Reserve. Visitation is from5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Sunday at Millet Guidry Funeral Home and from 8:30a.m. until services on Monday.

DUHE LUTCHER – Dorthy Davis Duhe, 43, a lifelong resident of Lutcher, died April 15. She was the mother of LaShona, Myeshia, Eric and Ozzie Duhe.She was also the sister of Wilbert Davis She is survived by four grandchildren.

Services are today at 11 a.m. at Christian Assembly Full Gospel Church,Gonzales, with interment in the church’s cemetery.

EDWARDS MONTZ – Margaret Allen Ensey Edwards, 69, native of Murfreesboro, Tenn.

and resident of Montz for the past 15 years, died April 12. She was themother of Sherry Gandy and Stephen and Guy Edwards Sr.

She is also survived by six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

MADERE LAPLACE – Claire Montegut Madere, 73, a native and resident of LaPlace, died April 17. She was the wife of the late Williams Madere Jr. and mother ofMichael Madere and the late Jeanne Madere.

She was also the sister of Carmen Stein and the late Harold Marcel, Olga Rodrigue and Sidney, James Jr. and Jeanne Montegut.She is also survived by one grandhchild.

Services were held April 19 at St. Joan of Arc Church, LaPlace, withinterment at St. John Memorial Gardens, LaPlace.

MCRAY LAPLACE – Louise McCray, 93, a native of Durant, Miss. and resident ofLaPlace for the past four years, died April 15. She was the wife of the lateHenry McCray Jr.

She is survived by three grandchildren.

Services are today at 1 p.m. at Georgeville United Methodist Church,Goodman, Miss., with interment at the Georgeville Cemetery.

MILLET LAPLACE – Etienne P. Millet Sr., 82, resident and native of LaPlace, died April19. He was the husband of the Late Lucille Keller Millet and father of LindaTerrio and E.P. Millet Jr.He was also the son of the late Levy and Veleda Millet and brother of Ethel Weber, Joseph Millet and the late June Millet and Thelma Pizzaloto.

He is also survived by three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services are today at 10 a.m. at Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, LaPlace, withinterment at St. Peter Cemetery, Reserve. Visitation begins at 8 a.m.
