LAPLACE – The St. John the Baptist Parish Council approved severalappointments Tuesday.

Councilman Allen St. Pierre appointed:- Chuck Bazile to the Animal Control Board – Norman Volion to the Airport Advisory Board – Inez Duhon to the Water, Gas, Sewer and Drainage Board – Lionel Tamplain to the Recreation Advisory Board – David Beadle to the Economic Development Committee – Sammy Miano to the Environmental Advisory Committee Councilwoman Melissa Faucheux appointed: – Johnny Sperling, Water, Gas, Sewer and Drainage Board – Barbara Falgoust to the Animal Control Board – Vernon Bailey to the Economic Development Committee – Randy Smith to the Recreation Advisory Board Councilman Lester Rainey Jr. made the following appointments:- Margaret Landry to the Animal Control Board – Rosemary Sorapuru to the Airport Advisory Board – Vernon Farnell to the Recreation Advisory Board – Lori Burke Colas to the Economic Development Committee
