Ashley Ann Duhe and Travis Anthony Taylor were married Dec. 26 in thehome of the bride’s parents.

The bride is the daughter of Gladys and Early Duhe Jr. of LaPlace. The groom is the son of Rebecca and B.W. Buchanan and Andy Taylor ofBirmingham, Ala.

The bride, whose mother is the former Gladys Marie Miller, was graduated from St. Charles Catholic High School. She will attend Columbus TechnicalInstitute in the summer to study nursing.

The groom, whose mother is the former Rebecca Densmore, was graduated from Faith Academy in Birmingham and is currently enlisted as a private in the United States Army.

The couple is stationed in Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga.
