Brown, Millet to marry in February

Ken and Faye Mahan of LaPlace have announced the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Angela Darlene Brown of LaPlace, to Durel Anthony Millet of Gramercy.

The groom is the son of Godrey and Joyce Millet of Gramercy.

The couple plan to wed in mid-February at B.B.’s in LaPlace, with justiceof the peace Karen J. Bailey officiating the ceremony.The bride is a graduate of Riverside Academy in Reserve.

The groom is a graduate of Lutcher High School and attended River Parishes Technical Institute in Reserve. He is employed by Wal-Mart.
