Williams, Devier marry at St. Peter

Dr. Katherine Lynne Williams and Thad Walther Devier were united inmarriage Nov. 13 at St. Peter Catholic Church in Reserve, with the Rev.Patrick Sanders officiating.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Jerusalem Temple in Destrehan.

The bride is the daughter of Sen. and Mrs. Ron Landry of LaPlace and Lynn E.Williams of Baton Rouge. The grom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John W.Robertson of Ponchatoula and the late Dewitt Clinton Devier.

The bride’s dress was a traditional gown of ivory satin with detail trimming in cafe’ satin and with alencon lace appliques handbeaded with pearls and clear sequins. The triple sash back overskirts a semi-catherdral train; a full two-layer veil secured by a head piece accented with pearls. Her bouquet consisted of a nosegay bouquet of Anna roses andstephanotis with pearl accents.

The groom and groomsmen wore traditional black tuxedos with black ties and vests.

The bridesmaids dresses were elegant navy blue peau de soie satin sheath.

Their bouquets consisted of a nosegay of fire and ice roses accented with pepperberry and pink astilbe.

The matron of honor was Kelly Commiskey of New Orleans. Thebridesmaids were Christine Perkins of Baton Rouge, Amy Schultz of River Ridge, Vicki Steen of Mandeville, Amy Williams of Baton Rouge and Erica Williams of Baton Rouge.

Best man was Todd Comeaux of Baton Rouge. Groomsmen were ToddFitzmorris of Mandeville, Charles Henry of Metairie, Bill Short of Mandeville, Adam Strait of Lafayette and Lynn E. Williams Jr. of LaPlace.The flowergirl was Alexandra Comeaux of Michigan; the ring-bearer was Kyle Holzman of Kenner; and ushers were Calvin Comeaux of Michigan, Lt.

Cdr. Robert Holzman of Kenner, Thomas Garcia of Albuquerque, N.M., DanielA. McGovern V of Slidell and John Robertson Jr. of Robert, La. Following the wedding, the couple took a honeymoon trip to Hawaii.
