ABADIE PAULINA – Lauren Elizabeth Abadie, 7, a native and resident of Paulina, died Nov. 7. She was the daughter of Jeffrey and Geri Bienvenu Abadie andsister of Joshua, Luke, Micah and Mark Abadie.

She was also the grandchild of Julius and Thelma Abadie and Geraldine and the late Carlin Bienvenu. She was also the great-granddaughter of AdaRodrigue.

Services were held Nov. 9 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Paulina, withinterment at the church mausoleum.

CLEMENT LAPLACE – Lawrence “L.J.” Clement Jr., 66, a native and resident ofLaPlace, died Nov. 6. He was the husband of Martha Clement.He was also the son of the late Lawrence and Simone Clement and brother of Marion Prudhomme, Fay Ann Marse, Lilly Mae and Dwight Sr., Daniel andthe late Harold Clement.

Services were held Nov. 9 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, LaPlace, withinterment at St. John Memorial Gardens, LaPlace.

FORET LUTCHER – Thomas J. “Buster” Foret III, 79, a native and resident ofLutcher, died Nov. 4. He was the husband of 59 years of Thelma RousselForet and father of Carolyn “Caro” Stephens, Jacquelyn Melancon, Peggy Harrington, Colette Brignac and Rebecca, Kenneth “Wop,” Richard “Footy,” Ellis “Elka” and the late Thomas Foret IV.

He was also the son of the late Thomas and Yvonne Bourgeois Foret and brother of Yvonne Pavy, Lorraine Larose and Lynn, Gerald, Dan, Eugene and Dr. James Foret.He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Services were held Nov. 8 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Paulina, withinterment at the church mausoleum.

JONES RIVER RIDGE – Lloyd Leroy “Pork Chop” Jones, 67, a native and resident of St. Rose, died Nov. 3. He was the husband of Jean Price Jones and father ofJoyce Christie and Myron and Darrius Jones.

He was the son of the late Robert and Eula Mae Jones and the brother of William Jones.

He is also survived by six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services were held Nov. 9 in the chapel of Richardson Funeral Home, RiverRidge, with interment at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, St. Rose.

NORRIS JACKSON, Miss. – John Marshall Norris, 75, a native of Bude, Miss., and aresident of LaPlace, died Nov. 1. He was the husband of Bettye Jane Norrisand father of Susan Patton and John T. Norris.He was also the brother of Betty Jean Clark and James, Sammie, Jimmy, Jerry, Jessie, Joseph, Judius, Jehhel and Jacob Norris.

He is also survived by six grandchildren.

Services were held Nov. 5 in the chapel of Lakewood Funeral Home,Jackson, Miss.

RIZZUTO NEW ORLEANS – Catherine Mule’ Rizzuto, 85, a native of Norco and resident of Metairie, died Nov. 7. She was the wife of the late Sebastian Rizzutoand mother of Catherine Yenni and Melchione Raymond Rizzuto.

She was also the daughter of the late Calogero and Maria Gulotta Mule and sister of Margaret Portera, Rose Zummo, Mary Stipelcovich, Faye Suppardo, Marie Mancuso, the late Josephine Mancuso and Jack, Peter and Mikel Mule’.

She is also survived by four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services are today at 11:30 a.m. in the chapel of All Faiths Funeral Home,New Orleans, with interment at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation starts at8:30 a.m.

SCHEXNAYDER ALGIERS – Roy F. Schexnayder, 78, a native of LaPlace and a resident ofAlgiers for 25 years, died Nov. 6. He was the husband of Marie KellerSchexnayder and father of Tammy Bergeron, Sharon Myshrall, Janelle Pomes and Michael, Kim and Matthew Schexnayder.

He was also the son of the late Ozeme and Maria Haydel Schexnayder and brother of Enid Boe and the late Ceola Walker and Nolan Schexnayder.

He is also survived by 13 grandchildren.

Services were held Nov. 9 at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church,Algiers, with interment at Westlawn Memorial Park.

WILLETT MARRERO – Pamela C. Willett, 46, a native of Paradis and a resident ofMarrero, died Nov. 2. She was the wife of Michael Willett Sr. and mother ofAmy Mendoza, Heidi Calderon and Michael Willett Jr.

She was also the daughter of the late Howard and Geraldine Dufrene Callais and sister of Dawn Dempster and Byron Noto.

She is also survived by one grandchild.

Services were held Nov. 8 in the chapel of Davis Mortuary, Marrero, withinterment at Restlawn Cemetery, Avondale.
