“What do you think?” There are a lot of common misbeliefs in our world today. Sometimes wetend to believe that just because we feel a certain way about a subject, our thinking must be correct. Well obviously we can’t all be right all thetime, so I decided to list a bunch of questions frequently brought up in today’s society and what God says the correct answers are.

Can you get to heaven by being a really good person? “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works, so that no man can boast,” Ephesians 2:8-9.

Is it wrong to curse or speak vulgarly? “Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen,” Ephesians 4:29.

Is abortion really wrong? Is it OK to tell a little white lie? “There are things the Lord hates, seven that are detestable to him: naughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood…” Proverbs 6:16,17.Is it OK to sleep with someone outside of marriage if you really love them? “It is God’s will that you should be sanctified – that you should avoid sexual immorality; that each of you should learn to control his own body in a way that is holy and honorable, not in passionate lust like the heathen who do not know God,” 1 Corinthians 43-5.

The other day I heard someone say “Well, I believe that parts of the Bible are true.” If you’ve ever said this yourself, think about this: Would youever see a dog and comment, “Well, I believe that for the most part that’s a dog, but its head and feet are a little questionable.”If you have any questions or comments, write to me at of P.O.
