ANTHONY KENNER – Michael Anthony Jr., 36, a native of Plainview, Long Island, N.Y.and a resident of Kenner for 12 years, died Oct. 18. He was the husband ofLaura Wiggers Anthony, an advertising sales representative for L’Observateur , and father of Catherine and Emily Ann Anthony.

He was also the son of Wannah Maria San Carlo and the late Michael Anthony and brother of Charles and John Anthony and Anthony Paccioni DeVivo.

Services were Saturday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of L.A. Muhleisen & SonFuneral Home, Kenner, with interment at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. Inlieu of flowers, send donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, 3616 S.

I-10 Service Road West, Metairie, La. 70001.

BUTLER ST. ROSE – Lorena B. Butler, 80, a native and resident of St. Rose, died Oct.17. She was the wife of the late Ellis Butler.She was also the daughter of the late Arthur and Violet Boyd and sister of Irma Edwards and the late Timothy and Dalphine Boyd.

Services were held Oct. 21 at Fifth African Baptist Church, St. Rose, withinterment at Jefferson Memorial Cemetery, St. Rose.

HAWKINS KENNER – Peggy Ann Bright Hawkins, 52, a native of Reserve and a resident of St. Rose, died Oct. 19. She was the wife of Roosevelt Hawkins andmother of Charlotte, Quiena, Corey, Alisha and the late Derek Hawkins.

She was also the daughter of the late Victor Sr. and Evelina Bright, step-daughter of Gertrude Bright and the late Dorothy Bright and sister of Betty Davare, Willa Mae Cureaux, Barbara Mitchell, Mary Lee Nelson, Shirley Woodland, Gwendolyn Juniors, Dianne Johnson, Sylvia James, Lori Reid and Herman, Ulysses Sr., Geraldine and the late Victor Bright Jr.She is also survived by two grandchildren.

Services were Saturday at 11 a.m. at Solid Rock Church, Kenner, withinterment at Zion Travelers Cemetery, Lions. Visitation starts at 10 a.m.

KAHL LUTCHER – Michael Charles Kahl, 43, a native of Baton Rouge and a resident of Gramercy, died Oct. 18. He was the husband of Raven Renee Thibodeaux Kahl and father of Michael Jr., Luke, Gabrielle and Joey Kahl and Jaley andJustey Villeneuve.

He was also the son of Charles Kahl and the late Mary Blunt Kahl and brother of Donald Kahl.

He was Chief of Police in the Town of Gramercy for nearly 11 months and an employee of Occidental Chemical Co.

He was also a 1974 graduate of Lutcher High School, past assistant chief of the Lutcher Police Department, active in the Louisiana Sheriffs Association, Police Chiefs Association, St. James Explorer Post 59,Paulina and Grand Point Volunteer Fire Department and he was also an instructor for the Louisiana Concealed Weapons permit and at the Lafourche Police Training Academy.

Services were held Oct. 21 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Gramercy,with interment at St. Joseph Mausoleum, Paulina.

LODWICK METAIRIE – Grace Hilty Lodwick, 76, a native of Detroit, Mich., and aresident of LaPlace for many years, died Oct. 18. She was the wife of thelate Frank T. Lodwick and mother of Patricia Cleveland and Judith andMichael Lodwick.

She was also the sister of the late Henry, Lawrence and James Hilty.

She is also survived by five grandchildren.

Services were held Oct. 21 in the chapel of Lake Lawn Funeral Home,Metairie, with interment at All Saints Mausoleum, Metairie Cemetery.

PAUL KENNER – Octavia Vinnett Paul, 84, a native of St. Rose and a resident ofKenner for 36 years, died Oct. 19. She was the wife of the late Elvin PaulSr. and mother of Marilyn Davis, Sandra Taylor, Elmeda McClendon, Betty Hebert, Rita Brown, Gearilyn Durio, Andrewetta Lanis, Sheral, Theodore, Benjamin, Robert, Sherman, Shedrick and Elvin Paul Jr. and the late Jamesand Aaron Paul.

She was also the daughter of the late Oscar and Olevia Blue Vinnett and sister of Audrey Eugene, Cora Anderson, Oscar, August, Curtis and Wilbert Vinnett and the late Pearl Rodney, Gertrude Singleton and Evelyn and Benjamin Vinnett.

She is also survived by 55 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Services were Saturday at 11 a.m. at Sweet Home Christian Center,Kenner, with interment at Belgrove Cemetery, Kenner. Visitation begins at10 a.m.

WEBSTER LUTCHER – Shannoez Breishon Webster, 7, a native and resident of Lutcher, died Oct. 17. She was the daughter of Ferdinand Gaines III and ShannonWebster.

She was also the grandchild of Josephine Webster, Edison Nicholas, Mary Louise and Louis Morris and the Rev. and Mrs. Ferdinand Gaines Jr. She wasalso the great-grandchild of Irene Franklin, the late Mr. and Mrs.Washington Webster, Ferdinand Gaines Sr. and Isaac Franklin Sr.Services were Saturday at 11 a.m. at King Triumph Baptist Church,Lutcher, with interment at Western Cemetery. Visitation starts at 9:30a.m.
