BABIN NORCOWilly Albert Babin, native and resident of Norco, died Sept. 2.He was the son of the late Willy A. Babin and Cecilie Blank and the brotherof Vera Sbisa and the late June LeBlanc, Gloria Hymel and Paul M. Babin.Services are today at 12:30 p.m. at H.C. Alexander Funeral Home of Norcofollowed by entombment in Holy Rosary Cemetery in Taft. Visitationbegins at 10 a.m.

BANKS RESERVEAlbertha “Bay-Bay” Taylor Banks, 71, a lifelong resident of Reserve, died Aug. 29. She was the wife of the late Henry Banks and themother of Waltherine Banks.

She was the daughter of the late Sam Taylor and Tia Taylor and sister of Alma Paphile, Leola Joseph, Beluah King and the late Dorthy Matthews, Ernest Taylor Sr., Simon Tayor and Lawrence Taylor Sr.She is also survived by three granchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services are today at 11 a.m. the Greater New Plymouth Rock BaptistChurch in Reserve, with interment at St. John Memorial. Visitation beginsat 9:30 a.m.

BEJOILE LUTCHERFreddie “Boonie” Bejoile Jr., 58, a native of Lutcher andresident of St. Louis, Mo., died Aug. 28. He was the husband of JameszenaRussel Bejoile and father of Katheleen Bejoile.

He was also the son of the late Freddie Bejoile St. and Rosa Lee CoatsBejoile and the brother of Mary Brown, Della Jury, Marlene and Delores Morris, Katie Hayes, Margaret Webster, Wanda Wharton, Kathleen Shory and Rayne, Sheila, Charles, Rene and Rev. Alfred Bejoile.He is also survived by a grandson nieces, nephews, cousins aunts and brothers-in-law.

Services were held on Aug. 2 at King David Baptist Church in Lutcher withinterment at Golden Wreath Cemetery in Lutcher.

BOUDREAUX RESERVEDonald “Don” Boudreaux, a native and resident of Reserve, died Sept. 1. He was the husband of Aimee Faucheux Boudreaux and the father ofDon, Randy and Brad Boudreaux, Susan Ginaberg, Kim Leblanc, Liz Sunseri, Mary Barrios and the late Baby K.A. Boudreaux.He was also the brother of Paul and Dale Boudreaux, Beverly Keller, Barbard Braud, Iris Rousse, Mary Duhe, Gale Castay and the late Catherine Ory and Noah Boudreaux.

He is also survived by 17 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on Sept. 3 at Millet Guidry Funeral Home inReserve, followed by a church service at St. Peter Catholic Church andinterment at the church cemetery.

CANNON TAFTEva Randall Cannon, 78, a lifelong resident of Killona, died Sept. 1.She was the wife of Savior Cannon and mother of Savior H., Minnon andMichael Cannon, Fern Gullage, Catherine Pierre, Barbara Francis, Jane Johnson, the late Velma Gullage and Eva Singleton.

She was also the daughter of the late Emily and Emile Randall and sister of Selina Carmen and the late Etienne Joseph Jr. and Martinelle and MaryGreen.

She is also survived by 33 grandchildren, 50 great-granchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Services were held Sept. 3 at Canaan Baptist Church in Killona withinterment at Holy Rosary Cemetery in Taft.

DUHE RESERVEMabel Duhe died Aug. 26. She was the wife of the late JulesDuhe and mother of Shirley Jacob, Joaann Gray, James, Karen, Marilyn and Jules Duhe Jr. and the late Brenda and Win Ellis Duhe.She was also the daughter of the late Lucy Johnson and Garfield Ruffin and the sister of Victoria Elmore, Hilda Ruffin and the late Beatrice Green, Lillian Brown, Rebeca French and Augustus and James Ruffin.

She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Services are today at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church inReserve with interment St. Peter Cemetery in Reserve. Visitation beginsat 9 a.m.

JOHNSON Ernest “Money” Johnson, 64, died Aug. 29. He was the husband of ElzinaJohnson and the stepfather of Sheila Johnson, Arobee Bates, Ethel Mae Trujillio, Carence Jenkins Jr., Elzina Jenkins and Alana Johnson. He was also the son of the late Clara R. and Percy Johnson and the brotherof Mable Jackson and Albertha, Julies and Junis Johnson.

Services are today at noon at New Rescue Mission Missionary Baptist Church in Reserve with interment in Zion Travelers Cemetery in Reserve.

Visitation begins at 10:30 a.m.

KELLER MARREROLawrence Keller Sr., 73, a native of St. James Parish andresident of Marrero, died Aug. 31. He was the husband of Melvina S. Kellerand the father of Leroy, Rudolph, Ronald, Lawrence Jr., Barbara Scott,Lubertha Adams and the late Freddie Keller.

He was also the son of the late Antoine and Lubertha Simon Keller and the brother of Yvonne K. Greenup and the late James and Freddie Keller. He isalso survived by 21 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are today at 10 a.m. at Rock of Ages Baptist Church inMarrero with interment at Restlawn Cemetery in Avondale. Visitationbegins at 8:30 a.m.

PULLEN WEST HAMLIN, W. Va.Stella Ruth Pullen, 80, a native of Kentucky and aresident of St. James for the past year, died Aug. 29. She was the wife ofthe late Nathan Pullen and mother of Betty Caulder, Mary Zeringue and Charles and William Pullen.

She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.

Services were held Sept. 2 in the chapel of McGhee-Handley Funeral Home,West Hamlin, W. Va., with interment at Fairview Memory GardensCemetery, Hamlin, W. Va.

RAYMOND KILLONAEdrington “Eddie” Raymond Sr. died Aug. 26. He was the husbandof Nancy Carr Raymond and the father of Donna Green, Devery Williams and Edrington Jr., Wilson, and Sydrece Raymond.He was also the son of the late Rev. Sylvester and Julia Raymond and thebrother of Rev. Frank Raymond and the late Thomas, Benny, Joseph andPearl Raymond.

He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren.

Services are today at 11 a.m. at Canaan Baptist Church in Killona withinterment in Greenhills Cemetery in Taft. Visitation begins at 10 a.m.

WAGUESPACK VACHERIEAlvin Felix Waguespack, 90, a native and resident of Vacherie, died Aug. 31. He was the husband of 68 years of Agnes Abadie Waguespackand father of Zulma Elrod, Katherine Amedee, Bertha Brock, Jane Becnel and Dr. Hubert, Perry, Dr. Philip and Rodney Waguespack.He was also the son of the late Fernand and Bertha Schexnayder Waguespack and brother of Marie Haydel, Nelson, Arthur, Mark and Nolan Waguepack and the late Fernand and Stanley Waguespack.

He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Services were held on Sept. 3 at St. Phillip Catholic Church on River Roadin Vacherie with entombment at St. Phillip Cemetery.
