BOUDREAUX LAPLACELucien A. Boudreaux, 64, a native of Norco and a resident ofLaPlace for the past 43 years, died June 28. He was the husband of the lateLorraine Lasseigne Boudreaux and father of Michael Boudreaux.

He was also the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Prosper Boudreaux and brotherof Liz Landry, Neil, Gary, David and Don Boudreaux and the late Joycelyn Coniglio.

He is also survived by two grandchildren.

Services are today at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Millet-Guidry Funeral Home,LaPlace, with interment at St. John Memorial Gardens, LaPlace. Visitationstarts at 9 a.m.

EDWARDS RESERVEEmelda Riley Edwards, 86, a resident of Reserve, died June 24.

She was the wife by first marriage of the late Clement Gibson Sr. and bysecond marriage of the late James Edwards Sr., mother of Annabelle G.Dunn and the late Clement Gibson Jr. and step-mother of the late AnnieMae and James Edwards Jr.

She was also the daughter of the late Ella Shiloh Brown Marvigne and Adam Riley and sister and step-sister of the late Elliot Riley and Burdell Riley.

She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Services are today at 10 a.m. at Zion Travelers Baptist Church, Reserve,with interment at the church cemetery.

LABRANCHE NORCOPaul LaBranche, a native and resident of Montz, died June 27. Hewas the husband of Loraine D. LaBranche and father of Larry and JoeyLaBranche.

He was also the son of the late Leopold and Amelie LaBranche and brother of Ella Foret, Mae Granier, Joseph LaBranche and the late Pauline Vicknair, Melina Schexnayder and Earline, Henry and Earl LaBranche.

He is also survived by four grandchildren.

Services were held June 29 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Norco, with interment at St. Peter Catholic Cemetery, Reserve.

PFISTER NORCOMarvin Paul Pfister, 39, a native of Fort Sill, Okla., and a residentof LaPlace, died June 24. He was the husband of Dora Watson Pfister.He was also the son of Paul Sr. and JoAnn Heer Pfister and brother ofWilliam Sr., Mark and Paul Pfister Jr.Services were held June 28 in the chapel of H.C. Alexander Funeral Home,Norco, with interment at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, St. Rose.

PLOGER METAIRIEJosephine Pizzolato Ploger, 84, a native of St. Rose and aresident of Metairie, died June 24. She was the wife of Henry John Ploger,mother of Betty Deshotel and step-mother of Harlene Villio.

She was also the daughter of the late Onofrio and Nicolena Geraci Pizzolato and sister of Laura Rapp, Mary Ann Rogers, Anthony Pizzolato and the late Mary Lara, Joseph and John Pizzolato.

She is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Services were held June 28 in the chapel of Lake Lawn Funeral Home, Metairie, with interment at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.

SAVOIE DES ALLEMANDSWarren Luke Savoie Sr., 70, a native and resident of DesAllemands, died June 25. He was the husband of Betty LeBlanc Savoie andfather of Jenny Campbell and Warren Jr. and Kerry Savoie.He was also the son of the late Corbett and Sedonia Dufrene Savoie and brother of Loretta Vial, Genevia Rogers, Ralph Savoie and the late Clarence Savoie.

He is also survived by six grandchildren.

Services were held June 28 at St. Gertrude Catholic Church, DesAllemands, with interment at the church cemetery.

ZENON MARREROCharles Zenon, 70, a native of Vacherie and a resident of Marrero, died June 20. He was the husband of Rosemary Rhodes-Zenon andfather of Tracey Washington, Quinten Anderson and the late Vonderlyn Gaines.

He was also the son of the late Philbert and Amelia Zenon and brother of Barbara Sinette, Augustine Taylor, Norman Zenon, the late Cecile Harris, Clement and Auglopher and Norbert Zenon Sr.

He is also survived by five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Services were held June 26 in the chapel of Davis Mortuary, Marrero, with interment at First Baptist Church Cemetery, Vacherie.
