Guy and Sandra Decker of Baton Rouge announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Tasha Nicole Decker of Baton Rouge, to Kyle Richard Moran of LaPlace.

The wedding will take place Aug. 20 at 7 p.m. at St. George CatholicChurch, Baton Rouge. The Rev. Mat Loraine will officiate the ceremony. The bride-elect is a graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy and Louisiana StateUniversity, where she received a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She ispresently attending Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C., seeking hermaster’s degree in counseling.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of Richard J. Moran of LaPlace andKimberly Anne Pizzuto of Poplarville, Miss.

He is a graduate of Riverside Academy and is presently in the United States Air Force Medical Corps, stationed at Boling Air Force Base, Washington, D.C.
