Get High on Life plans fundraiser to support its ministry

LAPLACE – Plans are underway for the third annual “Get High on Life” benefit dinner scheduled for June 22 at 7 p.m. At the Holiday Inn inLaPlace.

Proceeds will go to Get High on Life. The organization helps those whohave been afflicted with alcohol and substance addiction. Harold Keller,founder of Get High on Life, also talks at schools, jails and rehabilitation centers, offering support.

This year’s program will include testimony from former alcoholics and drug addicts. Banquet chairman will also discuss how the organization isreaching out to assist those in need and will discuss the long-range vision for Get High on Life and the plans for a rehabilitation center.

Tickets for the dinner are $100 per couple. Sponsorships are available atthe $1000 (platinum), $500 (gold) and $250 (silver) levels. Those who areunable to attend but would like to make a donation are offered to do so.

Last year’s dinner raised over $23,000 for Get High on Life. A crowd ofover 200 attended the banquet with many giving testimonies about how Keller and Get High on Life have affected their lives.
