Johnson on Police Jury Association boardL’Observateur / March 17, 1999HAHNVILLE – St. Charles Parish Councilman Curtis Johnson Sr. has joinedthe executive board of the Police Jury Association of Louisiana at its 75th annual convention held recently in Lafayette.

Johnson, now in his 14th year in parish government, was elected to the position during the Regions One and Two meeting, representing Jefferson, Lafourche, Orleans, Plaquemines, St. Bernard, St. Charles, St. James, St.John the Baptist and Terrebonne parishes.

Johnson said, “The Police Jury Association plays a major role in supporting local governments throughout the state, and I am glad to be a part of the executive board, which is its governing body.”He added, “I am honored to have been elected by the public officials of Regions One and Two, and I want them to know they can call on me at any time.”
