Miss Rebecca Lynn Brouwer and Matthew Peter Carlo were united in marriage Jan. 30 during a Nuptial Mass at the Cathedral of St. Andrew inLittle Rock, Ark.

Msgr. Francis Malone officiated at the ceremony, followed by a receptionat McDonald Hall.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael J. Brouwer of LaPlace. Sheis a graduate of St. Charles High School and the University ofSouthwestern Louisiana where she received a bachelor of science degree in business administration. She is employed as a buyer at Dillard’scorporate office in Little Rock.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mariano P. Carlo of Pueblo, Colo. He isa graduate of Pueblo South High School. As a staff sergeant in the UnitedStates Air Force, he is serving as an instructor loadmaster and is pursuing a degree in industrial technology from the University of Southern Illinois.

Following a honeymoon in Cancun, the couple will reside in Little Rock.
