ANDERSON CHALMETTE – Stella Gravois Anderson, 83, a native of Vacherie and resident of New Orleans for many years, died Feb. 5. She was the wife ofthe late Joseph Nolan Anderson Sr. and mother of Thomas and JosephAnderson Jr. and the late Frederick Anderson.She was also the daughter of the late Ozanne Joseph Sr. and Marie LouiseBrazan Joseph and sister of Marie Davidson, Rosa Songy, Jacquelyn Waguespack, Lester, Earl and Charles Gravois and the late Rita Roberts and Rene, Guy, O.J. Jr., Della and Denise Gravois.She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Services were held Feb. 8 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Chalmette,with interment at St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.BEAVER Sybil Vicknair Beaver, 79, a native of Reserve and resident of Thibodaux, died Feb. 7. She was the wife of Marvin Beaver and mother of Linda Guillot.She was also the daughter of the late Willis and Lutha Berthelot Vicknair and sister of Hilda Peranio and the late Percy Vicknair.

She is also survived by one grandchild.

Services were held Feb. 9 at St. John Catholic Church, Thibodaux, withinterment at the church cemetery.

BORNE Raymond Borne Sr., 79, a native and resident of Garyville, died Feb. 7. Hewas the husband of Gloria LeBoeuf Borne and father of Gwen Becnel, Peggy Lambert, Donna Dicharry, Kay Morvant, Nancy Bourgeois and William Borne and the late Raymond Borne Jr.

He was also the son of the late John and Anna Horn Borne.

He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services were held Feb. 9 at St. Hubert Catholic Church, Garyville, withinterment at St. Peter Cemetery, Reserve.BOUDOIN EDGARD – Lynn Boudoin, 76, a native and resident of Edgard, died Feb. 4. Hewas the husband of Olga Sorapuru Boudoin and father of Thelma Burrell, Melanie Cox and Nicholas Sr. Wayne Sr. and Michael Boudoin Sr. He was also the son of the late Louis Sr. and Virginia Boudoin and brotherof Alberta Oubre, Flora Mae Numa, Agnes Oubre, Mary Ward, Raymond, Teddy, Nelson and Louis Boudoin Jr. and the late Amanda Jasmine.He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services were held Feb. 8 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Edgard,with interment at the church cemetery.

CENTANNI KENNER – Ione Agnes Fourroux Centanni, 91, a native of Gramercy and resident of Kenner, died Feb. 6. She was the wife of the late Joseph JohnCentanni and mother of JoAnne Pertuis and Christian Paul Centanni.

She was also the daughter of the late Paul and Julia Jumonville Fourroux and sister of Rita Mae Maggiore and the late Leone Windham, Bertha Courtney, Eugenie Jacob, Ethel Mayeaux, Stella Gremillion, Nathan, Roland, Joseph, Paul Jr., Raymond and Cecile Fourroux.She is also survived by five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services are today at noon in the chapel of L.A. Muhleisen & Sons FuneralHome, Kenner, with interment at St. Mary Cemetery, New Orleans.Visitation starts at 9 a.m.COLEMAN VACHERIE – Lucy Armant Coleman, 55, a native of Vacherie and resident of LaPlace, died Feb. 3. She was the daughter of Florence “Lilly” Armant andthe late Eliam Armant Sr. and the sister of Rose Dorsey, Florence Harry,Debra Harry, Lorenzo Wright, Joyce Joseph and Velma, Lolita and Warren Armant.

Services were held Feb. 9 at First Baptist Church of Vacherie, withinterment at the church cemetery.

COLLINS NEW ORLEANS – Clarence “C.J.” Collins, 52, a native of St. James Parishand resident of New Orleans for many years, died Feb. 4. He was thehusband of Dorothy Halley Collins and father of Alicia Rice.

He was also the brother of Erma Bolds, Cheryl Charles, Donna Theodore and John and Donald Collins.

He is also survived by two grandchildren.

Services are today at 10 a.m. at Little Zion Baptist Church, New Orleans,with interment at Providence Memorial Park. Visitation starts at 9 a.m.CRIBB DURHAM, N.C. – Lena Russell Cribb, 77, a native of Durham, N.C. andresident of Luling for three years, died Feb. 7. She was the wife of the lateClyde Cribb and mother of Janie Munch, Clyde Jr., Jack and Lynwood”Shorty” Cribb and the late Jimmy “Stumpy” Cribb.

She was also the daughter of the late Ira and Berthan Cain Russell and sister of Lethia Packler and William Russell.

She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Services were held Feb. 8 in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, Marrero,with interment at Maplewood Cemetery, Durham, N.C.GAUTIER EDGARD – Leneo Joseph “Doc” “Joe” Gautier, 68, a native of Edgard and resident of Gray, died Feb. 4. He was the husband of Lois McGuin Gautierand father of Shawn, Tyrone, Carl and Joey Gauthier and the late Byron Gauthier.

He was also the son of the late James and Justine Gauthier and brother of Elmo, James, George and Emmanuel Gautier and the late Cornell and Marion Lumar and Doris Lewis.

He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services were held Feb. 8 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Edgard,with interment at the church cemetery.

JOHNSON KENNER – Edwin Christopher Johnson Sr., 73, a native of St. Rose and aresident of Destrehan for 37 years, died Feb. 6. He was the husband ofTheodoria Dennison Johnson and father of Thadrian Johnson Isles and the late Edwin Johnson Jr. and Pamela Joseph, and step-father of Terry White.He was also the son of the late Lee and Helen Johnson and brother of Curtis Johnson Sr. and the late Beatrice Brumfield and Benjamin Johnson.He is also survived by seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Services are today at 10 a.m. at Thomas United Methodist Church, Kenner,with interment at Jefferson Memorial Cemetery, St. Rose. Visitationstarts at 8 a.m.LaBRANCHE RESERVE – Agnes “Nonnie” Guedry LaBranche, 65, a native of New Sarpy and resident of Reserve for 21 years, died Feb. 6. She was the wife ofRoland LaBranche and mother of Patricia “Patsy” Millet, Annette “Netty” Ayme, Roland “Petsy” Jr. and Timmy LaBranche and the late JoAnn Edler.She was also the daughter of the late Roger and Delphine Guedry and sister of Josephine Barrient, Edith Ancale, Carol Sutton, Roger, Michael and Sidney Guedry and the late Enda Seri and George Guedry.

She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services were held Feb. 9 at St. Peter Catholic Church, Reserve, withinterment at the church cemetery.

MITCHELL EDGARD – Paul C. Mitchell Sr., 69, a native and resident of Edgard, died Feb.4. He was the husband of the late Joyce Mitchell and father of RachelDismuke, Dennis, Paul Jr., Kermit and Renee Mitchell and the late AaronMitchell.

He was also the son of the late Sidney and Josephine Borne Mitchell and brother of Christine Pierre, Mary Edwards, Oleander Joseph, Willie and Herman Mitchell and the late Emily Augusta, Simon, Ramos and Phillip Mitchell.

He is also survived by five grandchildren.

Services were held Feb. 9 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Edgard,with interment at the church cemetery.

SAVOIE DES ALLEMANDS – Clarence “Su-Su” “Snowball” Joseph Savoie, 79, a native and resident of Des Allemands, died Feb. 7. He was the husband ofthe late Wanda LeBlanc Savoie and father of Geraldine Hervieu, Alberta, C.H. “Sonny,” Curtis, Wildred, Dennis and Mark Savoie and the late DwightSavoie.

He was also the son of the late Corbett and Sidonia Dufrene Savoie and brother of Loretta Vial, Genevia Rogers and Ralph and Warren Savoie.

He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services were held Feb. 9 at St. Gertrude Catholic Church, Des Allemands,with interment at the church cemetery.
