NORCO – For centuries, Catholics worldwide have used the Holy Rosary as an expression of their faith and to ask for the intercession of the Blessed Mary.

Students at Sacred Heart School in Norco celebrated the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary with a living Rosary in the church last Wednesday morning.

The celebration began with students singing songs. Eighth-grade studentsthen read the Joyful Mysteries of the Rosary, while students from all grades formed the beads of the Rosary with a rubber ball passed around to mark the spot. Eighth-grade students formed the cross. Following the Rosary and more songs, the Rev. John Marse read theBenediction and the Litany.

This was the sixth year that the school has held the Living Rosary. Theprogram is usually held in the garden at the school, but rains moved it inside the church this year.
