DEAR EDITOR: I would like to commend Entergy for their outstanding efforts in restoring service to St. John Parish after Hurricane Georges. As a councilman, Iunderstand the tremendous effort and resources that were required to have over 98 percent of St. John Parish electric customers back on by theend of Monday, after the hurricane hit Sunday.
I see on the television that other areas that were hit still have customers out of lights and I personally want to thank the local crews and those who came in from outside the state for an outstanding job of restoration.
