Whenever life is hit by a storm, it comes with a purpose. Storms destroy and disrupt our life and its winds scatter pieces. I remember preaching a sermon about scattered pieces after the death of a family member. If a storm must be given a name, then death is surely one of them.

The aftermath of a storm is just as important as surviving one. In the aftermath the decision must be made to pick up the pieces and put life back together again. Despite the emotional rollercoaster that comes with the storm, it’s in the stability of our decision that sets the foundation for us to rebuild our life.

In rebuilding our life, we should not expect it to be the same as before the storm. This expectation could be a big hindrance in the process of rebuilding if we do. We must understand that some pieces that we had may never be found.  Yet while searching we may find pieces that we never had before. Keeping our mind open for something new will help us limit disappointment in the rebuilding. To have a grand victory in our rebuilding process; our mind set should be to rebuild better with the scattered pieces after the storm. It’s possible! You can do it! It’s worth it! God bless!
