Focusing one’s attention on the matter at hand is very important when trying to achieve something. We must direct our attention and thoughts to the focal point.

Distractions cause our thoughts to become scattered like a jig saw puzzle that is awaiting to be put together, driving thoughts from the original agenda.

When trying to focus, we must understand that we have been given authority by God over our mind. With the power to direct our mind by our words to think the way we want it to think. It’s amazing that even our mind must submit to what we have to say. This takes discipline and sacrifice to be achieved. By first establishing a way of thinking, we can think positive or negative, God’s way or our way.

God provides us with a guide in Philippians 4:8 to help us to think his way if we choose too. For me it’s God’s way because experience has taught me that it is the BEST way.

We should identify our thoughts based on the selection of how we choose to think. Rejecting any other way of thinking besides the one we have chosen is the sacrifice that has to be. Becoming discipline in our actions helps us to make this process a way of living. With practice, it  becomes our lifestyle and everything else is foreign to it. Focusing brings order to our life by bringing order to our thoughts. When this happens achieving our goal is a guarantee. So, stay focused, avoid distractions and keep achieving. God Bless!
