SJSO Investigates Shooting in Edgard

Detectives with the St. John Parish Sheriff’s Office are investigating a shooting in Edgard.
On Sunday, May 14, about 11 p.m., officers responded to call for service in reference to gunshots fired at a vehicle. Upon arrival, the 23-year-old female victim reported that she was traveling on La. 18 where someone in an SUV began shooting at her vehicle then fled the area.
The victim received minor injuries from shattered glass.
